Just recently I learned that Lacey had been auctioned off last year, and after much searching for further information, I found more than I could dream, thanks to you!! So thank you very much for posting that information in this post.

I was wondering a couple things, though. Rather than leave it buried where no one can find it, would it be possible for you to repost it in a whole new thread? The event itself is more than enough justification, but he also reveals that Fox turned down her upcoming series, and the thread devoted to that subjet doesn't mention this.

In his recounting, he mentioned a couple curious things, first being that "Dallas thing", and second, "her message board". Near as I can tell, she has no official site, and I also can't find anything about what happened in Dallas (though I gather from the context that someone claimed to have spotted her trying to hide in her car or something).

Lastly, I am curious as to where you got this, because I can't find it anywhere else.

well the thing about Dallas was just her sister hunting for a new house. lacey just happened to be keeping her sister company. the guy who posted this and won the auction for luch with lacey goes by J over at the "lacey central" website. google it. he tends to post things on the chat area on the main home page.

there was another auction to have lunch with lacey early this year and once more "J" won it. now this is just what i picked up by going to the site. i haven't gone into the site that much recently. so i might not have read everything J put up there. this time around lacey was a no show for the lunch but J apparantly has been contacted by lacey or a representive of hers in order to change the lunch date. this has led to some bickering on the site and i think J doesn't want to talk about it anymore. it's a sore subject. someone on another site said that lacey was probably freaked out it was the same guy again. so who knows. i feel that it had something to do with lacey being busy as of late with a new project that she just started filming. not sure what the new film is called.

anyway here are the lunch pics of lacey and the lucky guy. oh and the brownies i wish lacey had made for me.

Okay, I see, that clears it all up. Buncha rumors and stuff, I know how that goes. Unfortunate that they use such a crappy comm interface; they coulda bolstered their forum if they'd done all that arguing in there, and as of now, the only thing left of relevance is J apologizing for sharing the information that got blown out of proportion; looks like it's gone into the bit-bucket.

I guess I'm gonna hafta make that auction site my home page; the site you pointed me to had 2 or 3 different mentionings of Lacey auctions, but their home page is nothing but grief to read. Wish they'd improve it. Was there earlier today or yesterday and I guess I clicked on the wrong links and didn't get to see the news pages I thought I was seeing.

I hope the flap doesn't stop him from posting about the next encounter, it was information I enjoyed learning and he's got a decent writing style, so I didn't want to rip my eyes out while trying to read it. :D

As a last resort, I clicked on his link to his blog, and after some looking around, I found his Lacey story that you posted. Good thing you did, because his pictures are inaccessible.
