Having recently found out that I'm going to Iraq in August, I was thinking about how popular Lacey might be if she went on a handshake tour for the troops through the USO? What do you guys think? I know I would appreciate it being over there for 15 months and getting to meet her.

My own wishes aside, do you think Lacey would be popular enough, given an adequate introduction, among the troops if she did a USO tour?

I think so. She has been in several moderate-to-well known projects. Most people could atleast recognise her as the "brunette girl from Mean Girls" or the "young girl from Party of Five"

That's the only thing I can tell people when they ask who is the picture of on my phone. I can only say "the brunette in Mean Girls or the young girl in Party Of Five." I wish you all the best and hope you get to meet her.

That would be cool. Entertainers who "donate" (there is a small stipend of 50-150 dollars) their time to USO certainly have my respect for doing so.

I think the guys would go wild for her even if they had no idea who she was, I recently read a interview from a comedian (I can't remeber who) that said everyone just loved to laugh and have fun for an hour. Hey if Kathy Griffen is a hit there Lacey would blow their minds. Quicksilver if you ask for an autograph pic from Iraq I would bet you should get one pretty fast.

So what's a good address to request an autographed photo? I know this has been covered, but I have no clue where I saw it before.

About 5 months ago I sent a letter (the exact same letter, infact) to each of her known mailing addresses and I have yet to hear a response from any of them. As of now, I am unsure.

I can't see it, myself. No one would care much beyond how slinky of a dress she wore, and I expect her to be too shy to stand in front of 1000 drooling men. (I would be, and I'm not even a girl!) A photoshoot isn't much different from standing in front of a camera, or even being on stage: you can't really see the audience.

Of course, she may be bolder than I think she is, or may have a sudden surge of patriotism, but unless she knows someone who's been over there, it's probably never entered her mind. Considering her schedule for the rest of the year, I wouldn't count on it due to just that.
