So I have a pretty decent day at work. Although right now I'm feeling pretty down because tuesday I went to a concert and I met this girl and we were pretty much together the whole concert and then she had to go and I never asked for her name or anything and I feel real dumb. Sorry, didn't mean to bring in the personal stuff. Back to my story...I go to my local grocery store after work and the newsstand is right in the front so I stop and I'm browsing and I see the new Maxim with Lacey Chabert on the cover. I grabbed that thing so fast man.

i finally got the magazine. i can't believe that the local newstand store that i always go to wouldn't sell it until next tuesday. the guy there told me that it isn't supposed to be released until then. what? it's out everywhere else but not here. so i went empty handed straight to work and guess what. there in the magazine aisle at the target (where i work) was the magazine. so i scooped it right up. the guy at the electronic dept where i purchased it took a look at it and went "wow, who is that? she looks familiar." i didn't say anything. good thing is that target only charges $4.50 for the mag instead of the full price plus that 10% discount works wonders, sometimes. can't believe that part in the article where someone tried a pick up line on lacey in a target. a target of all places.

as for the movie i was hoping lacey would play the part of the intelligent girl instead they give her the same type of role as in mean girls, dumb. i hope she doesn't get stereotyped in this type of role.

I just bought the magazine today. I found it at Walmart out of all places. She looks so hot. I didn't even know there was an article..lol.

I did some work on the cover image that was scanned. Got rid of the text and worked on the colour the best I can. So here it is, my made up pseudo HQ maxim cover image!! (you saw it here first on fanhost)

I wish I could figure out how to graphical enhance photos. I just scanned all the pages of my issue and they came out kind of grainy looking :(

yeah i have the same problem. it happened with some jlh pics i scanned. they come out grainy and a little too orangy.

Do you think that Lacey will do some adult roles, because of her photos? I remember that she said that she is not that type that would pose nude and she wants to be a tease. I hope that she does not do any adult roles, because that is like selling out and begging for work.

In regards to cenobite's post about Lacey doing more 'adult' roles...I don't understand how it seems she's selling out by doing more adult roles. I mean she is a woman afterall and look at actresses like Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Connelly, they've done adult roles and they're widely respected.

I guess it all depends on the type of adult roles she plays...if it's like a role in a teen type of romp then yeah it would be detrimental to her movie prospects. I mean imo anyway, Anne Hathaway improved her career by going topless in Havoc. I'm not saying Lacey should do the same but I'm trying to point out that it can't always be bad.
