Introduction Thread for all Lacey fans!

In this thread you can introduce yourself to all the other Lacey fans at Fanhost. It doesn't matter if you're a new fan or old fan of Lacey, just drop a line and let everyone know who you are. Feel free to write anything you want about yourself.

Ok then here goes:

My name is Jonny(duh!) and I'm from Stockholm, Sweden. I've been a fan of Lacey ever since she started playing little Claudia on Party of Five. I dunno why but it was just something about her.

I'm from Australia and I've also been a Lacey fan since the good ol' days of PO5.

I'm Shaun from teh Michigan, USA. I've been sober for 4 weeks -- err been a fan since Lost in Space which roughly equates to season 4 or 5 of Po5. Been a pretty big fan since then though!

I never watched PO5 (which is funny considering I'm also a big Love Hewitt fan) and I only really noticed her around 2001 when she was in Tart (one of my favourite movies) and Not Another Teen Movie (where I loved her JLH impression - btw great sig luv_monkey

).

I think it's great she's keeping a mix of mainstream and indy movies, and now perhaps more TV work. In the last couple of years she has really ..ahem.. blossomed, so now I'm a huge fan.

So Shaun's a moderator! I'm sure I think I knew that at one point; sorry I've been off the radar for so long. I've been finishing up school and left to go to basic training this past summer and got commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the A rmy in November. Right now I'm waiting to finish up my officer training and will probably be 7 months out from deploying to Iraq once I get to my permanent station. I've been on these boards since 2001 and before that, frequented the LaceyVibes board if anyone remembers that site before it became porn. Though I'm probably not Lacey's BIGGEST fan, I'm confident in calling myself one of her oldest fans. At this point I'm sure it's borderline unhealthy.

I'll say 'hi'. I also have a question. Wasn't Lacey the original voice of Meg on Family Guy? If so, why isn't she still the voice and not Mila Kunis?

yeah she was the original voice, though uncredited for the role. I think the consensus on the board at the time was that it was either some kind of moral objection to the content or that it wasn't the role that would move her career in the direction she wanted.

Given Lacey's resume though, I would describe her more as a voice actress than a real-life actress.
