New design for LaceyRealm

Well I decided I wanted to redesign LaceyRealm to something a little more snazzy or professional looking. I came up with this:

EDIT: I just finished the site and I think it works pretty well. It still looks a little cluttered so I might extend the height of the content box more and maybe make the text smaller.

I need opinions on a few things
1. I know there is alo of images to load to form the site, does it load too slowly for some? (load time 1 to 10, 1 being slowest)

edit: 2. (thumbnails shouldn't be a problem anymore, nevermind this step)

3. Is the new design cool? ( 1 to 10, 1 being 'old site is totally crappy compared to the new one')

Update: ok I kind of got the scrollbox thing working. I reckon I'm going to have to make it bigger though. Meh, its still in development.

I like the colors altho it looks a little empty at the bottom. Maybe add a little something there. I still give it 3 ;)

But what called me more attention is the front pic. I know of many Lacey pics and also I am building a homepage for me and never saw a pic prettier than this yours.
