Oh god, say it isn't so!

According to imdb.com Lacy will be doing a movie inspired by those hideous, *****y Bratz dolls.

I think she's just going to be doing the voice, since it's an animated movie, but it's all together just as horrible. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Anyone know if its going to be a cartoon or will it actually be like the dolls moving around; similar to Team America: World Police with the marionette puppets?

I seem to recall her, on many occasions, saying how self concious she was about her voice since everyone made fun of it. If that's true, then why does she insist on voice acting over regular acting? Granted her voice acting ability is much better and more diverse (but not really) than her actual acting abilities, but COME ON! Could it be she is simply typecast as a voice actress instead of a "real" actress?

Oh well. I'll just have to be content watching Natalie Portman in the Star Wars movies (did you see episode III?! If not, you should - awesome movie and lots of fun).

Hi guys, I'm new to the Lacey forum... I don't think she needs to fire her agent. I think she is good at doing voice work, so why should she stop? She is getting paid for it, and she has managed to build a sucessful voice career and pretty sucessful acting career... There is no reason for her not to do both, and I am pretty sure that we are all not the target audience for "Brats".

Only 2 Voice Work I like Lacey doing was:
"The Wild Thornberrys"
"Family Guy"

Wish she would have never left "Family Guy". She would be working all time if she would have stayed with them.

Hiya MCfan4eaa, welcome to the Lacey boards! :D

And you're right, work is work. Lacey has a great voice and I like seeing her utilize it in cartoons and stuff. I'll admit I don't normally see the cartoons but I'm not part of the "target audience" hehe [img]graemlins/boggled.gif[/img]
