| Just found this: Lacey Chabert, one of the materialistic ladies who terrorized a suburban high school in last year's blockbuster "Mean Girls," said co-stars Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams are too busy with their skyrocketing careers to revisit their most successful movie. But if they could ever find the time, Chabert revealed that she'd be willing to get mean again. "I would love to do a sequel. I don't know that there's much talk about one going around, but I had so much fun doing that, and then we got to go to the MTV Movie Awards and we won for best onscreen team there; that was so exciting." Chabert even offered up her own possible plot: "The Plastics go to college?" As if the concept of continued education wasn't mean-spirited enough already. ... SOURCE |

| Member ![]() ![]() | I don't know if a sequel works for that movie. Everybody changed/reformed by the end of the first one. Not to mention that sequels to those kinds of movies (that is, awesome strokes of genius such as "the Matrix") invariably get hijacked by studios and turns the entire concept sour. Though it'd be cool to see Lacey in a film... what's going on with that? |

| Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm gonna have to agree with quicksilver there about how it might not work. All of the Mean Girls did join different cliques at the end and thusly weren't mean anymore. But comedies have a better tolerance for slightly inaccurate sequels. I don't care if it doesn't make sense at all, I want there to be sequels and sequels |

| The concept goes both ways for this movie... On one hand, Lacey could be the one stopping the new "plastics" from causing school havoc..and on the other hand, she could be the one causing havoc in the school. I really don't know. In any case, if Lacey's in it, I'll watch it - not matter how dull the movie is. It's just a big fan showing support for the only actress he admires. |
