| Moderator   |  wow that is so cool! The prize doesn't provide hotel and transportation, so people not anywhere near california might just be out of luck. Especially considering the premiere is a week from now and you wouldn't even find out if you won until 3 days before [img]redface.gif[/img] I wonder how much 2-way plane and hotel in LA would cost [img]graemlins/woah.gif[/img] I'm going to sign up anyway! If I win I'll have to really beg the parents for some early birhday/christmas cash lol! |

| Moderator | jeebus using orbitz's flight + hotel thing the cheapest combo I can come up with is $422 per person and thats if I took a flight out there on the day of the premiere (23rd) spent 1 night in a hotel and then flew back the next day! I may not be signing up for the contest now. Unless I can figure out a way to do it around like $200 :\ Maybe I can drive there and sleep in my car lols. I'd just need a place to take a shower and change clothes haha |

| *shrugs* I'll enter...just because. Edit: Bad timing for me on this one... 1) The party is on the same day that school starts up for me again. That's not a bad thing, because I'd ditch a day or two of school to meet these people. But still, I know that days count up... 2) No travel or hotel accomodations? Man, that's lame! It's bad enough that I'm giving up school days for this thing....and money doesn't grown on trees. When I checked Orbitz for a one-night, one-ticket combo, the lowest I came up with was $327. That's not bad, but then I have a friend who lives in San Pedro, which is about 20 miles away from LA. That's not too far for me. It would be cheaper, but a longer way to get to LA. I wouldn't mind walking 20 miles though. 3) Although cheap, money still plays a factor in this tenative role. I wish that they'd provide a way of transportation though. I'm sure that people from all over the country would sign up....and to narrow it down to 12 people shouldn't be too expensive to provide a way for them to get to the premiere. $327 is just something that I don't have due to school expenses. Small price to pay to hang with Lacey [img]graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img] Well probably only for like 5 minutes, but whatev, I always wanted to see California and LA. EDIT: omfg, I may have lucked out if I somehow win. My step brother has a job where he has to travel alot and wouldn't you know it, he has assignment to go to Beverly freakin Hills on MONDAY. His company pays for his hotel/air/rent-car, I'd just have to pay my round trip ticket.
