As much as I would also like to see Lacey more there are two reasons why I'm not mad:

1. This is the work she's getting in Hollywood right now. It may not be what we want, but it pays her bills.
2. Maybe that's the type of work she likes to do. I've said on numerous occasions that she owes us nothing as fans. If she wants to do voice work instead of acting work, that's her prerogative.

I too would like to see her in more live-action roles... they should have cast her as a girl in "Sin City." I don't think she could pull off the bad girl image too well though.

I'm sure she doesn't want to do voice work instead of acting work, but it's what she gets and yes it pays the bills.

She's been getting some interesting roles since Mean Girls and she's certainly all over the red carpets these days... she's getting there.
