| Here is the article: "ABC Family Slates 2 New Flicks" By Anne Becker -- Broadcasting & Cable, 7/15/2005 4:55:00 PM Hot off rolling out a pair of scripted series this summer – its first ever, ABC Family will keep the originals coming with two movies later this year. If Only tells the story of a couple who get to re-live a day in which they fought, leading to the girlfriend’s death in a car accident. The film, directed by Hope & Faith’s Gil Junger, will star Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls (Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason) and premiere Jan. 2006. Same as it Never Was (working title) chronicles a self-absorbed college student saddled with the responsibility of raising her step-sister when her father and step-mother die. The film will star Hewitt's Party of Five cast-mate, Lacey Chabert, and Jake in Progress’s Wendie Malick and is directed by The O.C.’s Steve Robman. Production begins later this month in New Orleans and the film is slated for April 2006. ABC Family averaged 985,000 total viewers in prime during second quarter, up 6 percent from the year before. The first of its two summer scripted series, Wildfire, bowed in June. The second, Beautiful People, is set for August. Other summer offerings include Venus & Serena: For Real, a reality series on the tennis star sisters set to premiere July 20. |

Hmm, since they're not playing actual siblings maybe we can see the frustration and antagonism of a step family relationship work itself out in a little girl on girl action in the older sister's dorm room. | |

| The JLH film is called "If Only", and it was filmed in 2004. It was released in other countries, but couldn't find US distribution... I have it on DVD, and it is really an amazing movie. It saddens me that its US release is on ABC family, but at least it is having a US release... So, no, Lacey and Jennifer are not in the same film, lol, but I am glad Lacey is starring in a movie. It sounds like it will be good! |

| Found another site with info about the movie... ABC FAMILY ORIGINAL MOVIES (ABC Family, New!) - The cable channel has provided details for three of its upcoming originals, all of which are set to air in early 2006. January will see the premiere of "If Only," about a British man who gets a second chance after his girlfriend is killed in a taxi crash before his eyes following a lovers' spat. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Paul Nicholls and Tom Wilkinson star. Next up in March is "Fallen," about an 18-year-old boy who hits his birthday and realizes he's a fallen angel. No casting information has been released however. Finally there's Lacey Chabert and Wendie Malick in "Same As It Ever Was" (air date TBA), about a self-absorbed college student who must raise her stepsister, following the death of her father and stepmother. | Found another mention of this film... Also from WB's "One Tree Hill" is Amanda Baker, who joins the cast as the sporty and ambitious Callah O'Connell. Baker is fresh off a role on an ABC Family movie titled "Same As It Never Was" that will have the up-and-coming actress playing the best friend of Lacey Chabert ("Party of Five," "Mean Girls").
