| Lacey was briefly interviewed on Access Hollywood today as part of a story on the new TV movie she's in, "The Brooke Ellison Story". They also interviewed the director, Christopher Reeve from the Superman movies, and the person the TV movie is based on. I believe the movie will air on A&E in December. An extra on the set in New Orleans posted some pictures on 7/17, but so far none of Lacey. They are at: Set The following is an article about the new TV movie: Jun 1, 2004 LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Lacey Chabert, currently in theaters with hit comedy "Mean Girls," has signed on to star in "The Brooke Ellison Story," a fact-based A&E cable TV movie to be directed by paralyzed actor Christopher Reeve. Chabert will play the elder sister of the title character, who became a quadriplegic at age 11. With determination and the support of her family, Ellison rose above her disability and went on to graduate from Harvard University. The film, based on the book "Miracles Happen: One Mother, One Daughter, One Journey," will shoot in New Orleans, and likely air in the fourth quarter. The 21-year-old former "Party of Five" star recently completed shooting the indie feature "Dirty Deeds" opposite Milo Ventimiglia and Matthew Carey. She stars as a strong-willed girl at odds with her brother while he tries to be the first student to complete a series of challenges between dusk and dawn on homecoming weekend. She next begins work on "A New Wave," an indie feature about three young men who plan to rob a bank, leaving one of them torn between the love of Chabert's character and committing the felony. Chabert was in theaters last year with "Daddy Day Care." |
