| Where does it say Lacey won a golden globe? :confused: I looked this up at thegoldenglobes.com and didn't find any year that Lacey won. I did find that Party of Five won in 1995 for Television Series - Drama and was nominated 1996. |

| Excuse my english, it's not my first language but I'll try to explain: I guess that her presence has nothing to do with she being Hispanic or not (she's not of course). The award ceremonies get attention from the media (higher ratings) using public figures to present the awards and such public figures use this and other tv shows to promote a movie (Mean Girls). Usually the stars of a high-profile movie are under contract to promote such movie. Of course Lindsay Lohan can't be available for every show in Los Angeles and NY. She appeared at the most viewed (MTV awards, etc) and the other stars goes to the rest of the shows. |
