| 2 of her new films are thrillers and one is a mystery. So is she going for more serious movies? She's still doing animation tho but she seems to be going for more serious roles too. Well, I sure ain't complaining tho. I can't wait for Pleasure Drivers :D Thoughts? |

| Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | lol I just noticed her name is Faruza in the Pleasure Drivers. I wonder if she's going to play some kind of foreign sociopathic call girl with a funny accent lol It seems like Dirty Deeds will be comedy and I can't help but think the Pleasure Drivers will be funny too because it says Jason Mewes and Rachel Dratch are in it. But the other 3 or so movies looks like they'll all be more serious films. I've always been a sucker for comedies though and I'm looking forward to those more |

As far as doing serious films, I think after doing Party of Five for so many years that she wanted to do something different and comedy was the best thing. Now after doing a few of them it seems that she's ready to go back to drama . I think it's great of her to do this. It is very easy for an actress to be typecast and for her to show her range by doing both comedy and drama is the best thing for her career. A very intelligent thing for her to do. | Independent films are a smart way for her to go. The mainstream stuff she'll get is probably more of the same - teenager type roles. With independents she can do different kinds of stuff and actually try and break out of the teenager role and hopefully be looked upon as an adult. Plus there is a better chance of her being one of (if not the) lead of the film to show that she can carry a film which is also important if she wants to be considered as a leading lady. I think she is doing the right things and let's not forget that she is still young. She has a lot ahead of her and she is on the right track for a very long career in a hard business to survive in. |
