"Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" PICTURES - Page 2

oh man the reviews are coming in for this movie and they're all bad. i think many saw it coming. the movie is said to not follow the video games in any way. they use characters from the game but the characters backgrounds don't go along with the game backgrounds. their was one review that said the only reason to see this movie was cuz of kristin kreuk. but it was mostly cuz she's cute and sexy. especially the sexy dance scene she has. besides that the movie has a storyline that doesn't quite make sense. i'm waiting for dvd or a bootleg just so i can see the kristin scenes. yes it's just not about her, the character of charlie is in the movie. guile's buddy who in the original SF movie became blanka. he's played by chris kline or however you spell his name.

I went to watch it last night. First of all, Chris Klein was terrible! He had the worst lines of everyone, but it seemed like there were tons of cheesy lines to go around. The movie itself didn't really have a well planned out story, there were a lot of times when I said "Whoa, what? how do you two even know each other?!". The fight scenes were pretty good, except the camera would cut in and out so much that you can't even tell what is going on some times.

All in all though, I was happy to see Kristin in a major role like this. I think she did a pretty good job, still a little rough around the corners with the acting but she'll get better at it. Enjoyable movie to watch, as long as you don't take it too seriously...lol

I tried looking for reviews of it on Friday and saw nothing so I knew that was a really bad sign since most movies that don't have a preview for critics are hhoorrriiibbbllleee. Then again, I didn't expect this movie to be good at all so I might as well just go watch it anyway. I just need to find a friend who is willing to spend $9 on a crappy movie...

apparantly chris klein was told to act that way. the character was supposed to be horrible and extremely cheesy with some of the most ridiculous lines ever. but i think kristin has proven she can do action scenes and be cast in action movies.

yeah, so they didn't have prescreening for critics, which they usually do for movies. That's why they can get reviews out before the movie opens. It is always a bad sign if they don't have those screenings.
