| Member Newbie |  What makes you so in love with KK ? What do you like about Kristin Kreuk the most ? Whats her best feauture ? I know you like everything about her haha but if you were to pick one or two which ones would it be ? Well for me... its her pretty face and has anyone notice that beauitful smile of hers ? | moderator | I'm not ~*so in love*~ with kk but I think the best part about her is the way she contributes to as many charities as she can, either through good will, personal donations, or spreading the word throughout her fans. I also like how she tries to raise awareness with different cultures and within humanity itself. |

| Well charity isn't exactly the most unique part about her though. All sorts of 'celebrities' do this for whatever reasons.. I guess what separated her from other actors at the time was that she sort of represented something different in that business, with her ethnicity, personality and beliefs. However I think the reason for her lack of fans/popularity is that she's not quite living up to that. Ofcourse you grow up and things change sometimes, but you should still be able to stand for whatever past that led you to where and who you are now. I'm mostly refering to her asian side/and the hampson interview here. I like Kristin, but I don't like the road she's taking. Last edited by kkabitfan : 03-06-2007 at 10:50 PM. |

| Member Newbie | ^ yeah i agree with you man. alot of other celebrities contribute to alot of charities also. So i guess eve isn't that big of a KK fan  lol and yeah since you brought it up kkabitfan i am chinese so her being chinese and so beautiful is something i really like about her.  |

| I don't think she even looks chinese.. now. You certainly can tell her features or that she is eurasian though. But as I said she sort of 'lost' that asian/unique look at some point. I saw some pictures from Edgemont and she was really beautiful. She's just not the same anymore. |

| moderator | Kristin's 23rd birthday was the first time that fans came together to contribute to charity. One of the girls who meanders around this board, FilmGirl, actually brainstormed the idea up. This is what Kristin had to say about that, "We all have a duty to help others, and if this act can get others thinking about participating in charities, it will have accomplished a great deal more than you guys originally set out to do." (I pulled the quote from http://www.kristinkreukweb.com/KKbday/english.html, her birthday site) She is also constantly quoting Gandhi by saying "Be the change you wish to see in the world," meaning lead by example. She was also part of the mondonation event this past Christmas with some of the other Smallvillers to help raise money for a little boy stricken terminally ill with cancer. Together, they got fans to raise awareness, love, and money for Parker's family and it was a heartwarming experience. |
