Yes, Kristin does have a eating disorder and if she continues on the path she's on she's going to be half a ton and they'll have to cut a hole on the side of her house to pull her out!

She is no longer the 18 year old you remember from the beginning of Smallville. Her features have matured with her age, and she's lost 'x' amount of weight, which shows of course.

And to be quite honest it is pretty silly to say her acting has gotten worse since she lost the weight. I think her acting is better than ever, and even my sister who believes KK is one of the worst actresses out there has been impressed with her in the most recent episodes of Smallville.

I see that she has lost weight but im still not going to jump to the conclution that its an eating disorder. For all we know she could have joined a gym or taken up an activity like skiing.

I think she has gotten better as an actress in this current season. I also she has better scripts but in some episodes less of a main role.

Then she would've looked more 'athletic' or like Erica Durance. Kristins all skin and bone. I just wish she'd stick to her statements for once, and stop contradict herself. You can't just run around criticizing everyone else for their mistakes, then go do the same the next day..

Actually I've already refered to an entire season (3) and the pictures with Mark (Poseidon). But as I said pictures won't show the exact same, because of the different circumstances. It's just as silly to deny the fact that she's way too skinny and pale, and even that she has an eating disorder- which unfortunately is obvious. Sorry, she has acted for 8 years? ofcourse it had to improve at some point. I guess what I meant was that she's lost some or all her presence on screen. And lost her features are more.. gone, there's just skin and bone left. And honestly it looks like she's about to burst into tears or something every scene. I don't think the writing has been fair to her at all. It's horrible, but in many ep she goes through it with one facial expression only. So I don't think her acting has improved that much.

You know how every male actor has to go through the whole "he's gay" tread. Every female actress has to go through the "she's too skinny nowadays" trend.

Also about her being pale... maybe she hasn't gone to the beach in awhile or laid out in the sun? She does live in Canada for crying out loud! I don't see many Canadian who come down here to Florida looking very alive and tan as compared to most people here. If anything that's how people here usually can tell that someone from Canada, compared to just being from up north of America, is how their paleness is greater than an American from north of America.

And of course the time of year helps too... like right now Orlando is little Quebec and Ontario.

To be fair, Arelis, they can photoshop people to have more meat on their bones, just like they can photoshop someone to be skinnier. Mary-Kate has been photoshopped to be larger than she is in teen magazines so as not to impose an unhealthy image on impressionable girls. However, I doubt Smallville wastes the money that would be necessary to digitally alter images of her in the episodes, and that's why I chose to use screencaps and episodic photos to make my point.

This isn't just another "the actress too skinny" thread. It's pretty serious! Look at Erica Durance, she's skinny but by no means qualified as eating disorder- looking. To be completely honest, I think the whole 'being the blondest and skinniest' pressure is what's gotten to her head. If so, that's sad to see.

And if so, that's a pretty dumb move, to try and turn into another of those hollywood disasters. Because it was her ethnicity/'basic personality' that helped her get the roles in the first place. Like in Edgemont or Partition.

it's silly to compare durance to kreuk when durance so obviously has breast implants. there's going to be an episode coming up where durance plays a key role in next-to-nothing. please note how you can see her ribs very clearly from beneath her skin. all three of the girls have lost weight this season, in my opinion. even allison has thinned out, though i've always thought she was beautiful as is.

You can really compare KK to Erica Durance, they have different body types. Erica Durance has looked athletic since I saw her as a kid on Stargate.

I see wieght lose, but I still dont see any pciture that looks like its proof of eating disorder. I still say people can be thin and lose weight and not have it be an eating disorder. She is not as thin as Mary-Kate, Nicole Richie, or Kira Knightly. Those are stars who are way to thin.

Arms look the same.... if anything they look thinner in the first picture.

Though all I can really notice is that her face has thin out, but isn't that common with women as they get older, they lose that cheeky look that make them look young?

Because if Kristin really has lost weight, if she had a eating disorder...wouldn't her arms go along for the ride?

Oh.. I'M double-posting now...? lol. Ok, I'm not trying to compare Erica with Kristin. Just brought her up as a good example on looking skinny- and healthy! So it's no use in attacking me for that. But if I'm going to be honest, I have to think Erica is more happy with who she is, and Kristin not. At least not right now. People who develop an eating disorder usually have deep rooted personal issues. That's why it all becomes even more obvious when you hear and read about all her other problems..

To me Erica looks fake in every form of the word... if that's looking healthy than I hope Kristin continues to look unhealthy in your eyes!

You have yet to prove anything, you say Kristin has an eating disorder because of things you have yet to prove.

Pictures have been posted which feature how Kristin hasn't lost much if any weight, just grown older in age, matured.

If you want Kristin to get her face and chest done like Erica clearly did once she hit 25, than sorry to read that.

oh c'mon. she is really petite!! she is tiny and slim! eating disorder? she does not even come close to how nicole ritchie or one of the olsen twins looks like. besides i've had real anorexic patients and she does not look like them. not even a tiny bit.

just an observation...2 out of the 3 topics you made on this forum is about something negative about kk. are you a fan or a hater who just wants to stir the pot?

recent interview on ET Canada last feb. the host comments on how healthy she looks.

believe me after having anorexic patients no amount of make up can cover up an unhealthy look.

thank you for sticking up for our girl! i have to admit that i was freaked out at first by the way her size seemed to change in the past couple of seasons but by comparing pictures as both filmgirl and i have done, i can see that she really hasn't changed that much from her original form, and rather just fluctuated in weight.
