It's not like that Val...you know I'm a Kreukoholic for life...

I'm in my last year of school now, searching for a fulltime job and taking 4th year courses doesn't leave you much time to come on to chat about theKreuk unfortunately...and of course our KK doesn't really do much anymore to talk about, no magazines, no interviews...and very very few new pictures...

hopefully she lands a role in a big-ish movie soon, then this place would be moving like the good ol' days...

I'm 24 now. Holy crap, amirite?

Right now I'm spending a lot of time enjoying my life and my job but I will find time at least once a week now to be more active. Posting pictures, commenting threads, and being e-social again. I don't have anything new of KK but, like others, I'll post old pictures and just try to re-peak interest in our girl. Gone are the days when I used to have access to private pictures... oh well! If any of you have some good recommendations on what we could try and do to pull more activity into our part of the forum, please feel free to pm either me or Disguy23 with ideas.

PS I went to Vancouver for my birthday and saw John Mayer perform and I think I saw KK's house! At least, it's the house my friend told me belongs to KK and I don't know why she'd lie about it but who knows.

24!? OMG... you're such a youngster eve. But here's what I'm faced with: on tuesday my 20's will be over!... now there's a weird sensation. Will I still be trustworthy at 30!

KK just may have been at that John Mayer concert. She digs him ya know. When I was in VanCity two summers ago, the vibe was that K lived in an upscale waterfront condo in yaletown.

24 is not young! 30 is not old, either. I knew she might be at the concert but I was at the back of the stadium in middle seating, which meant I wasn't on the floor where she would most likely be. I still had an amazing view, though. I went to Snow Patrol and Augustana, too, and thought she might even be at that show.

If my friend was correct her house is big and yellow, sort of resembles the Kent house. It's absolutely gorgeous and in Mount Pleasant, not far at all from Cambie, Tomato (where she's been spotted eating) and two Starbucks. My friend lives half a block from her and has seen her multiple times getting coffee and walking through the back parking alleys back to her place. I don't know, though. It could possibly be her parents' or she could be pulling my leg!

Sounds like your friend has the inside skinny. Long ago, I read copy attached to an early KK photoshoot (Fashion 18, I think) that described K as having grown up in Shaughnessy, a way upscale hood split in the middle by Granville and bordered on the east side by Oak St. At the time, I thought this made sense since the Hamber high school is just 8 blocks south at the corner of Oak and 33rd. I mentioned this in a post at the time and flutterby, a VanCityite, came back with she'd heard K grew up in Mount Pleasant, just to the northwest, another nice neighborhood of larger than average homes on finely manicured streets.

Ya know I'm thinkin its her folks home and she's just over there alot. Course I could be wrong but it just seems unlikely she would want such a big house so early on. But what a great location so close to all the cool stuff. Cambie is the western border of Mt. Pleasant, then you cross north over the Cambie St. Bridge and you're right in yaletown. Or go west 10 blocks and you're at Granville island. Or go south 8 blks on Cambie from Broadway and you're at Tomato. Sounds like you had a lot of fun with all the concerts, prolly drinkin that Kokanee beer.

Yeah we walked to Granville from my friend's and I b*tched the whole walk, though thank god the majority of it was downhill. It's just that I had to walk up Cambie to get to her place and that road is not the easiest to trek up when you're used to the flat lands of Charleston.

I stayed in the Hilton in Burnaby and got myself lost on the bus transportation about 53 times. The sky train was really fun though.

And I don't know, my friend is adamant that it belongs to KK and not her parents, that she lives with Mark and I don't believe she has any animals (at least not any outside ones). The house is on a corner and the large front upstairs window that overlooks one street clearly shows a paint easel and canvas, so whomever sits up there likes to paint or at least pretends to be inspired.

I remember reading that she was from Mount Pleasant as well, and didn't someone from this forum have grandparents that lived by her personal condo? Her house could very well be mistaken for a condo in Vancouver because their condominiums are just large houses partitioned off into different sections. Hers would be the same way but it's just one large house. If I had to guess I'd say it's five or six bedrooms.

I don't want to say too much though in the general direction of where it is because it's not hard to miss and not hard to find, either.

Fascinating. Your friend is obviously a credible source so if she says that's K's home then its probably true. You were thinkin about Nathan's grandparents who lived next door from the starter condo she moved into at 19. By all accounts, she was outta there in just 2 years. Nathan posted that she wasn't seen in the neighborhood after that. With the show a success and her income soaring, K could certainly afford a bigger house, no doubt. I wonder when your friend was first aware of K being seen in Mt. Pleasant.

Shame on me but it was still weird to hear she's living with MH though I guessed that was prolly the case. After all, big bucks at a young age brings big adult freedoms. Maybe she charges him a reasonable rent so he doesn't feel too guilty about it. Have you read the recent long interview on his website? He sounds kinda out there in the clouds... at least to me. At one point he says NYC is the coolest, most vibrant and energized city he's ever seen and that he hopes to live there sometime soon. I don't even know KK but I know she aint gonna go live in the big apple.. lol.

Dang if you were in Burnaby, you weren't far from the Smallville Studios where all the inside stuff is shot... the barn, Talon, Lex's house, etc. I did a driveby... pretty impressive compound, that.
