Abstract, in terms of programming, it's pretty easy to design that. I assumed Vin would have a database of KK pics large enough :D Vin, you know you have plenty [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I WAS thinking of doing it in PHP and so it'd be easy to have a web interface to set parameters (what size you want each picture reduced to) and then you give the url of the image you want the KK pics to form. The database would have the KK pics already and know which pics to use for each pixel and could form the pic. But, the new mosaic would probably be quite large and it'd be bandwidth intensive to send the file back to the user.

but my advisor gave me a big job to do. I have to read a lot of research papers and write a 20 page report over the break and submit by Jan 2 [ :( ] So I won't have much time. Maybe I can spend on day on it and whip it up instead of procrastinating doing other things...

Yeah, someone here last fall made a mosaic with KK. He used some program. Since then, I've wanted to make such a program...

hmmmmm....I'd like to hear from one of the mods if there is actually a plan in place for KK.net to submit a project this year...doesn't seem like this idea will catch on... :(
