| I'm going to give it another go this season. Only because it's superman I give them a shot every season to make me want to watch, maybe they'll get me this year. Although I do hope this is their last season. Smallville, five years. Firefly, a handful of episodes. Does that seem right to you? Heh. Break for realness. Everyone here needs to download the firefly eps and watch them, for your own enjoyment of course. Then go out and watch the movie, Serenity, coming out next friday; this is a selfish request since I just want the movie to do well so they can make their trilogy. Although, more than likely, you'll enjoy the movie too. End of realness. @flutterby. you almost got me with the potter spoilers on your there jornal [img]graemlins/stare.gif[/img] . I stopped after the fourth book, waiting on the seventh so I can just go ahead and read the whole thing at once. One of my friends, who's a big potter fan, thinks i'm nutty, I say patience is my virtue. PS - Joshi, thanks for putting me on to the Ender series. I dig it. |

| Member  | I love Smallville to death but I really hope S5 is the last. I really think you CAN get too much of a good thing, and then all just turns to crap. You gotta know when to close up shop. Seinfeld and Friends had a good run and bowed out gracefully. Simpsons on the other hand, still going, and still IMO getting worse. (and still as irreverant as ever) Maybe Millar/Gough wants to create an even larger powerhouse than they already have. But as far as dinero is concerned, the main stars of SV are set for the rest of their life, that's for sure. I just hope they don't pull a Jordan or a Tru Calling with the show. Or maybe they'll do spin-offs. "Smallville: Special Victims Unit" anyone? [img]smile.gif[/img] |

The total numbers for each year are somewhere. who's got em? I can't wait ta see how they treat the clana hayloft love scene. in the trailer, lana seemed ready for who knows what, but after all, they are more mature now... yada yada. Flutterby I dont envy yer feelin overwhelmed by all those classes man i'm glad those days are over. | If they don't make him fly before the final five minutes of the series, I'm going to start writing death threats to the writers or mail them tomatoes or something. I've always also had a secret desire to see Bruce Wayne show up in Smallville for some reason too as it'd provide a nice hint of his origins and the two "Legends" crossing paths in their infancy stages so to speak. The question is: will this truly be it or will they make a "Metropolis" spin off starring Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor? Initially, I'd be hesitant to watch that but it could have potential to see Clark grow further as a person. Especially the transition from farm boy to city boy would be really good (the first time he'd get pick-pocketed maybe). |
