| Was it really $1000? Man, its seems like its been soo long since the end of that auction. But anyway, this is a different one. The person who won the auction that you said is supposedly $1000+, is from the forums. Forgot his name though, but he might reveal himself... |

| I really don't understand people like that . Don't get me wrong, some people in here are hardcore Kreukies and would love her yearbooks. However, if you look at the big picture, it's really a big waste when that money could be into something more substantial. Come one, why waste your money (a lot) to buy something so useless? It's not like there's a collection of Kristin's life photos in them. Like some of you already mentioned, there's about less than five pictures with Kristin in that entire yearbook and all of them have been seen . Conclusively, there's nothing new. [ October 28, 2003, 01:33 AM: Message edited by: n00b42 ] |

| Hmm... It would be a bizarre case though, atleast what I think, that a doctor will be a Kreuk fan. Somehow those two things don't "match." Maybe the doctor is interested in KK's body and wants to do a physical on "it." Woo noos. YAY! 500th Post! w00T! Its my birthday, its my birthday! And like I said, watch what you say about that 1000+ auction. I think the person still posts once awhile. | |

If he/she wanted to reveal his/her identity and brandish his/her acclamation, then he/she would've done so. If he/she wanted to bash me now for whatever reason, then he'd be revealing his selfdom to all of us. Thus, that would contradict with his "covert" in the first place. BTW, Kristin Kreuk, I wasn't convicting you of spamming . I'm sorry if I'd meant it the wrong way . | There are actually people who make a living as collectors for profit. In effect, its a form of gambling. The collector is betting on the FUTURE VALUE of a subject. Since the collector's ultimate payoff is often years away, they do need a bankroll to invest in so many different subjects. So, the collector has bucks to start with. ;) If Kristin has a meteoric career and is finished after Smallville and a few bit movie roles, then there is no "payoff" for her yearbook. If she marries, has kids and resumes a normal life in Vancouver, the collector simply has an old yearbook to fill a space on his bookshelf. But if she is destined for mainstream movie stardom in 6 or 7 or 10 years, then $115.00 was a SMALL price to pay for the ultimate jackpot - the RESALE of the yearbook to some fan who becomes infatuated with her stardom... perhaps someone who presently does'nt even know Kristin's out there.
