Doctor Zhivago

I can't believe Keira played Lara in a version of Doctor Zhivago. I've got to get a copy.

I think it was her first major role when she was trying to break into the business. I also believe she said she cut out on school to do it. And her dad understood because he was an actor to.

Well there was "The Hole" in 2001 with Thora Birch and Desmond Harrington.

Have you seen this film? It is available on Netflix and Amazon but not on Blockbuster (I'm assuming that you are in the US.)

Yes, I am in the US and yes I have seen it. They used to play it non-stop on HBO (Or showtime, I forget). So I sat down and watched it, not for me. I found it boring. I tried to read the book, even more boring. Keira was adorable though.

Well, even with Keira in it, its going to have to be pretty spectacular to outshine the David Lean 1965 version with Omar Sharif and Julie Christie. That film won five Oscar's. Nevertheless I have it in my queue on Netflix.
