No comedies for Keira

Keira Knightley won't be making us laugh anytime soon. The star insists she is "too dark" to ever pull off a comedy flick.

She said, "I always say I've no interest in doing a comedy because I don't watch very many. But actually I think I am lying because the other day I saw Blades of Glory and thought it was brilliant. I'm too dark in my soul to ever do a comedic role. I'm afraid I'd make a fool of myself."

Isn't the point of doing a cheesy comedy to make a fool out of yourself a little and let loose? I'd love to see her take on a role like that, she's too serious.

That's a wise decision on Keira's part. She's just not the comedian; she is much more adept at the dramatic period piece type roles.

I agree. Though I have to admit, she was pretty good at the tiny bit of comedy she had in Dead Man's Chest. =D

I agree but that is probably not the type of comedy some people would like her to do.

Not everybody can do any type of role, at least she's being honest about it.
