Keira donating UK premiere dress

TheNewKerala reports Keira Knightley is the latest celebrity to lend support for a social cause, as the British beauty will donate her gold Gucci dress, the one she wore at the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’ premiere in London, to raise money for charity.

I'd like to give it to charity for them to sell. It's not the kind of thing you can get away with wearing twice", Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

The Hollywood actress earlier raised money for charity when the gown she wore to the Oscars ceremony was sold in an online auction.

Yeah, it's normal to wear different outfits more than once, but for stars, if you wear the same dress at an important event again, I have to admit, that would be completely "cheesy". Well, not if it's a jacket, or shoes, but if she were to wear that same gold Gucci Dress to another party or something...>.> It would be pretty weird,lol.

I have to agree. Normal people can pull it off cause the world hasn't seen what they were wearing to one simple event. So not everyone will look and go "Ew, didn't you wear that to the OTHER event?"

If I were a star I'd always donate my dresses to charitable causes. If you think about it, it will only gather dust in your closet and why not use it to help those in need.

She's done before as I recall, I'm glad she's sticking to it and didn't just do it once to make herself look good.

I think Keira might be the next "Angelina" in doing things for charity. But not quite. Cause she hasn't donated any of her actual money yet. She's only given away her dresses to be auctioned.

You guys know what I found out? Paris Hilton has been donating her old clothes to charity for a while now. I did not know that. I was kind of surprised.

Well, of course alot of other celebrities would donate for charity, but at the age of 20, donating for charity is really good. I mean, for Keira, seeing how succesful l her career is currently. I feel sorry for how her latest boyfriend, Rupert is starting to feel like how Jamie is. She should have a boyfriend who feels proud and happy for her, not just jealousy. They show jealousy, and it's a style of greed.

Well if you think about it, Keira does give them reason to be jealous. In interviews she always rants and raves over how hot her co-stars are and how she gets to kiss them and/or have sex with them on screen. Even at both premiers for Pirates she was hanging all over Orlando Bloom and she's known for being fan girly about him. So yeah, if I were her boyfriend (even thoguh I'm a girl) I would get a tad jealous too. Seeing as how she is just about THE most beautiful woman in the world right now and everyone with eyes wants her.

Right. -_- I had forgotten that she's voted most beautiful women in the world xD Ok, so Rupert is currently dating the msot beautiful girl in the world, and she keeps talking about kissing and begging for a kiss with Depp...Yeah, her boyfriend is a bit fuming, but I read the article where she went to get a drink with a co-star who was -engaged- and he got extremely jealous and they had a big fight over that. o_o He said that "any many would happily chuck away their engagement ring to spend one night out with Keira Knightley."
