Whats with the pig mask?

Can somebody please tell me why the heck Keira was wearing that pig mask on her 21st birthday party?

I think I read somewhere that it was a customary to wear animal masks to parties in the 20's, and she was going with the theme.

Yeah, it was a 20's theme and i'm assuming it was also a fancy dress party? Or maybe she was just hiding from the pap.

I know it was 1920's but I had no idea they wore animal masks...I wonder why...

I think she was hiding from the cameras. I mean a lot of them do weird stuff to get away from the cameras

That's what I thought at first too, but Keira isn't the type to hide from them. She even waves to them sometimes.
