| Its been a while since anyone posted to this topic, but i have one very important thing to say. Underage nudity is not illegal. Underage porn and lascivious exhibition of the vagina are illegal and thats it, look up the law and you can read it for yourself. Art is protected by the constitution and last time i checked a movie is a work of art. Showing someones breasts has nothing to do with having sex and they don't even show pubic hair, which isn't illegal either. Why are americans so uptight with nudity? Everyone is so embarassed by their own body. Why can't we feel comfortable with our nakedness. In almost every other country, people could care less about nudity. It's a natural part of life...you were born naked for crying out loud. When i have kids they will not grow up thinking that their bodies are something to be hidden and kept secret. This will make them think that something is wrong with them. I mean we teach kids that it's called their privates. Why is it private? What is wrong with peoples bodies? Nothing at all, and my kids will not think that anything associated with being naked is bad. Why would you want your kids to think anything about themselves is bad. You want them to think that it is good or at least ok. You just have to teach them that sex and nudity and love are all different and they are not necessarily related, although they can be. If you you bring your kids up with total honesty and start telling them about life at a very young age and don't sugarcoat everything and don't use improper words to describe things like weenie, your kids will be just fine. Just teach them to be independent and in control of their destiny and when they decide they want to have sex everything will be ok, because they will be able to handle it. If my kids can't handle it they will know that it's ok to come to me to talk about it, because they will know I won't be mad at them, because sex is not bad as long as the person is mentally capable of handling it. If they have a strong mind it won't matter how old they are when they have sex for the first time. That way they can decide on their own when it's time and it should be up to them anyway, it's their body and no one should be able to tell them what they can or can't do with it. The government has no right getting involved in whether i can smoke, have sex, do drugs, drink, operate machinery, j.k. about that one. I lost myself somewhere but to sum it all up, art is art and art is protected by law. Thank you. |

| Why do non-americans always have to be so fu<biga>cking condescending towards americans when it comes to sex-n-violence? Wanna rephrase the question, or do you just enjoy rehashing threads that are over a year old? I dub the "Eurotrash". It matters not whether you're European or not... quit gettin on my nerves. Way to ruin a thoroughly legitimate point with as<biga>sholioness. Here's some shocking facts for you: 1)We Americans are not *ALL* puritans... 2)The vast majority of pornographic films (note... these are movies *AND* they are not considered art) are made in America... wow... that's unpossible! 3)Teaching kids that their bodies are to be valued and respected is not *EXACTLY* the same as teaching them that they should be ashamed... Stupid Eurotrash. |
