Maybe not. I've heard the character she plays in Love Guru is a smoker. So maybe (hopefully) it's just for the film. I'd find it odd that someone as health conscious as she's been would start smoking now.

Yeah to start smoking when your 26 years old can only be described as an act of complete stupidity imho. There goes all the talk about being healthy and a good role model for young girls... I remember quotes like "I had really bad asthma as a kid" and "it’s healthy to work out and women have health problems, especially in my family". Well a really smart idea to start smoking then

I thought she was a little more than a pretty face with great body (which btw is not so great any more either as she is getting too skinny) but I guess I was wrong

Hey guys. It's been awhile since my last post.

I think Jess started smoking out of stress. Her break up with Cash and her constant busy schedule could have led her to find an alternative to deal with everything. I mean, my grandpa worked in a restaurant as a chef, and he would smoke to calm his nerves. After he retired, he had no reason to smoke and quit.
