If this is true then its awesome news. I have never been a fan of her with Cash. The guy seems to have no personality. Despite the age difference I always liked her with Michael Weatherly.

I agree about Weatherly... and I think his personality, while it didn't fit her before, would fit her now. She complained how he never went out to clubs, etc... I think she's beyond that stage now. Regardless, I don't think they'd get back together. I'm sure she'll settle down with someone similar to him though.

What I've learned about Cash is that she liked him for his intellect. While that's all well and good, the guy hated public appearances. That's just as bad as the Weatherly situation where Jessica would be out there by herself, and no doubt for long periods of time. What boyfriend ???

Sounds odd to me. Something must have really changed her mind for to move him out so quickly. Makes you wonder what really happened and how long it will be till she says something.

I don't believe this “happened…almost out of nowhere,” story. I don't believe the "quick breakup over the phone" story either. I think this relationship was over months ago.

1 - Cash was hardly at any events with her anymore.

2 - When he was, he was rarely seen

3 - When they were seen together, neither one looked all that thrilled about it.

4 - The InStyle interview was another big hint. She said she was "still searching for the perfect father for her future children". Now, in the past, she's called Cash her "soul mate" and the "love of her life". Seems to me that she wouldn't be searching for the perfect father for her children if they hadn't already broken up. That's just NOT something you would say if you're with the love of your life.

So, here's my theory. Fox probably wanted them to keep the news about the breakup quiet until all of the major events surrounding the release of FF2 were over and done with. This is one of the biggest releases of the year for her and the studio. Fox wouldn't want news of a major breakup to interfere with the hype machine surrounding the film, and possibly cut in to any potential profits. So, I don't think it's a coincidence that this story broke when it did.

As I wrote earlier, I do believe they broke up months ago, and were told to keep it hush-hush until the Silver Surfer events were over.

Assuming that I'm right about this, I've got one big problem. Why the hell would they go with a story that makes her look like such a complete cold-hearted b*tch? I know that she's been getting that reputation in the last couple of years, and I really don't care for some of the things she's reported to have done lately, but why would they play into it? Maybe they wanted to build up a little sympathy for him? Do they really think that making her look like just another b*tchy Hollywood Diva is good for her career?

Jessica Alba split with Cash Warren because he was terrified of commitment, according to the pair's pals.

The actress reportedly ended her two-year relationship with the production assistant last week, after months denying the romance was on the rocks.

Especially Alba, the starlet who was, until recently, the girlfriend of Davis' manager and best friend.

Davis yanks the cellphone from his ear. He presses a button to hang up, and he tosses the phone down onto the seat of the SUV.

"I'm not," he says, "going to talk about my friends." He grows angrier. "Those questions aren't about basketball."
