Jessica Alba shows her charm
JESSICA Alba further established herself as a world-class act last night, spruiking her latest flick, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, with class and charm.
Alba breezed into Sydney with her Fantastic Four co-stars Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis to promote the second instalment of the superhero family franchise.
Since her rise to fame on US television series Dark Angel in 2002, the 26-year-old has avoided the path of self-destruction followed by fellow celebrities Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.
"I am really proud of Jessie because she is kind of like a kid sister to me and I am proud of the way she conducts herself," said Alba's co-star Chiklis.
"Too often when you are a young lady on the rise in Hollywood it can be too much, too soon. But she's made a conscious effort to conduct herself with class, dignity and grace."
The sequel, which heralds the return of Australian actor Julian McMahon as the fantastic four's evil rival Victor Von Doom, will be released nationally on June 21.
