Alba shines at Fantastic Four preview
2nd May 2007

Hollywood pin-up girl Jessica Alba and her fellow stars of superhero flick Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer made two red carpet appearances in Sydney to promote the blockbuster film.

The actors who play the family members and friends who form the Fantastic Four - Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm/The Thing) and Alba (Susan Storm/Invisible Girl) - appeared at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter, next to Fox Studios, to present a 20-minute preview of the unfinished film.

They then used either their celebrity superpowers or chauffeurs to reach a second photo call at trendy Oxford Street hang-out Will and Toby's.

The film, based on the comics by Stan Lee and also starring Australian actor Julian McMahon, is the sequel to the first silver screen adaptation of the film released in 2005.

Rise of the Silver Surfer will be released in Australia on June 21, a week after it hits US screens.

The key cast will also appear at the TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday in Melbourne.
