| Care of allheadlinenews.com. Found this very interesting in light of Dark Angel coming back to TV on Sci-Fi recently. I love Eva but it wouldn't have enhanced the multi-genetic character of Max's history if she'd gotten the role instead of her. Interesting, though, as I never heard this before. Hope I'm not being redundant for those that knew this already... Eva Longoria Snubs Designers And Claims She's Not Bitter At All July 28, 2006 7:27 a.m. EST Svjetlana Mlinarevic - All Headline News Contributor Hollywood, CA (BANG) - Eva Longoria loves getting revenge on fashion designers who snubbed her. The 'Desperate Housewives' actress has revealed one top designer refused to dress her before she starred in the hit US show - but is now desperate for her to wear his clothes. She said, "There is that one fashion designer who said, 'We're not dressing her,' because he thought I was such a nobody. When he sends clothes for free now, I send them right back." The 31-year-old brunette admits she was frustrated after being rejected for several acting roles before getting her big break playing feisty housewife Gabrielle Solis. She said in an interview with Playboy magazine, "I was turned down for the starring role in 'Dark Angel' - which went to Jessica Alba. And I was snubbed for the lead in 'Spanglish'. I auditioned to be one of the girls who escorted the wrestlers on 'Battle Dome' and didn't get it and I was fired from 'The Young and the Restless.' But I'm not bitter at all." |

I haven't seen her in that action flick with Kiefer Sutherland but I don't think she can do the tough stuff... Alba at least did some of her own stunts and actually looked the part making the moves... I don't know about Eva.. she's pretty frail-looking. |

| I'd still love to see her in a Season of 24 or Lost. Maybe in the next few years. One season would get her some big TV show exposure again while not tying her down to something long term, especially given how quickly the special guest stars on those shows are killed off. |

| That's what I mean: one guest star role on a season of Lost or 24. Maybe even Eva inviting her onto Desperate Housewives'd be good, although I've never watched the show so I'm not sure if that'd be a longer commitment than a temporary character on the other shows'd be. Maybe the "young thing tempting Gabrielle's husband Carlos" role. That'd be a good catfight role, lol. |

She has said in several interviews that she does not want to go back to TV, she doesn't believe that studios respect their shows enough. | |

| Who's to say that couldn't change if the right offer popped up on a show that wouldn't be committed to a long term TV show role a year or two from now. Remember, both Lost and 24 have been re-upped by CBS for several more years, that's a lot of guest star potentials. I know you live and die by only what the stars say themselves but we're going to have an incredibly boring forum if you don't want to explore any ideas or conjecture or allow any tangents to happen. |

| Angel was at the end of its rope IMO. I liked the show personally but eventually it had to end. Same thing with Smallville, I love it so much but I know they can't keep filming it forever. I have a funny feeling this might be the last season or next to last of that show. I could see Jess on Desperate Houswives but not on 24 or Lost. Those shows are perfect with the cast that they both have and in 24 major players in the show get offed every other episode. Kinda like Sean Astin this season. And JAL, I've heard you say you don't like 24 before. Thats not new. And you are missing out if you don't watch it because 24 is the best show on TV next to Lost and my favorite IASIP. cheers |
