I felt stupid enough reading the damn magazine in the freaking grocery line, I wasn't about to buy the damn thing. LOL, if my GF had been with me I would have bought it, and scanned it.

But, yes I did read it, and it said pretty much exactly what I said up there. The stupid thing about the whole thing is how rag mags on the internet have taken the thing and gone nuts with it. It was probably an off-the-cuff statement and worth absolutely nothing. All of the sudden, she's doing it to win an Oscar, she's doing it to become a real actor. Biggest bunch of bull-**** I've ever read in my life. She said she'd like to play a part of someone with a different sexual orientation, who the **** cares.

I just lay it out for everyone to play it out. Anything I read, see, hear about Jess is immediately reported on this site.

I understand, thats why the mags put it out the, people eat it up.

It's not only magazines that I report on, it's also news regarding upcoming projects, charity events, etc.

I'm not saying it's going to happen. I just understand her angle on it and think it's a smart one to play on if she chooses to. She's never let the critics dictate every one of her moves to this point. If she did, she probably wouldn't have touched Sin City w/a 10 foot pole. I think she knows how to play them like the phony harps they are, though, and this'd be the prime way to get their Oscar attention which every girl needs ya' know, despite what DeBiers says

Well, you don't have to win an oscar to be a good actor or actress. Scorsesi hasn't won an oscar yet and you just can't take away or ignore the great works that he's done.

But I think the main goal around here seems to be we want to dispel the feelings some have that she's a one trick pony (hotness and nothing else) and will never amount to any credible status in Hollywood. To get there, she has to play the game to a degree. If she does what she wants, that's good, but you have to play the screwed up roles to get "credible" attention from the Oscar elite.

"play the game" is just about right. She can avoid going nude for as long as it takes - that's something she can control... but the types of roles she plays is a different story. All the better if she is willing to do it before they ask her to.

Exactly.

Because Hollywood's turned into the elitist, private back-stabbing party she's alluded to before in interviews and said she doesn't want to be a part of. Every award's an opportunity to promote an agenda and every podium acceptance speech turns into a soap box tirade we, the little people, "need" to listen to because it's coming from them, our "royalty" and all. Thank God she's more down to Earth than that and I further thank the man upstairs she's savvy enough to play them like the pathetic harps they are.
