Sometimes I wonder if her face must hurt from all that smiling for the camera stuff. Sure hope she doesn't get laugh lines later in life due to these shots. But, that's her: always making the sacrifice for her peeps.

I always thought Harley would be hot but, hey, that's a helluva idea. Somebody call Kevin Smith and tell him to get the script working right away. The only question would be who could we stand to see her infatuated w/as playing the Joker and not storm the projection booth over?

like i said before why is everyone so intent on her being ever y single comic book movie now? i mean i'm sure she doesn't want to be pigeonholed into the thing where shes know as the comic book chick.

and why Kevin Smith? i though we where dealing with batman? not **** and fart jokes. nothing wrong with that but that just doesn't belong here.

Being pidgeonholed into comic book blockbusters isn't a bad thing. Hugh Jackman (every time I say his name I'd swear he was really a porn star in disguise) said the same thing when they begged him to do Van Helsing. Yeah, always being pidgeonholed into the lead actor in summer blockbusters at a cool $20 mil/picture is such a pain. How can he live w/himself? I'd love to see her get cred from critics but the coin is sooooo much better than the quan, I don't care what ol' Rod Tidwell says.

yeah but shes not getting 20 million is she? or having people take her serious as a actress.

there's a differenece between jackman and her. people loved him as wolverine. about every person had a piss fit when she was cast as sue storm and plus its gonna get tired.

Dude!!! Whats better?!?!?! Have you seens the movies Hollywood has been making lately? They are all comic book movies because they are running out of ideas.

That is why it is awesome that you are making a movie script of your own.

i don't know. but once i'm focused on something i intend to complete that goal. i hope that didn't seem to stalkerish.

Jess isn't using the comic book movies to "gain respect," JAL. She's using them as a vehicle to get her name into the conversations and then is using the smaller roles for serious movies choices which I think is a really smart way of turning the game against Hollywood. Besides, all you need is one serious movie for Hollywood cred (see Roberts, Julia) and make nearly $20 million/movie. Jess will get there, just give her time and enjoy the comic blockbusters she's in along the way.

Yeah, Julia Roberts is an actress with no movies I'd ever watch!!! At least Jess actually has played in decent movies.

And it's not just comic movies she's been in, they are movies with action. ie:ITB

but i'm saying people will gwt tired of her if shes in every single comic book movie. and i really don'tthink shes looking to be n the 20 million dollar club. she picks films that she thinks will be fun to shoot. into the blue is one of them.

I think she realizes she HAS to aim for the $20 mil/year club and Oscar club if she wants to get to her ultimate goal which appears to be the one in charge of a product film studio and help promote strong women in films. If she doesn't go for the gold now, she'll have a hard time pushing her agenda later. That's why I think she's playing their game now, which is really smart and why I love her.
