Please help me

Hi i am from sweden and i just saw the clip of jessica in entrouge.

And as my english isent that good i was wondering if someone could help me with a word in the clip.

It was when jessica was talking to a agent and she said that he was talking shop or something like that, what is the exact word and what does it mean?

I believe she was talking about "work". She was at a party, and the guy was trying to talk about work (in her case, acting). This is why she mentioned that her agent wasn't there.

Does that help? If someone says they don't want to 'talk shop' that means don't talk about work, talk about anything else but not about work.
