Can't tell. Is that "Him?"

Cool color choices, though. She brightens even the darkest night w/her warmth and style...

No it's not "Him". I think it's a body guard.

She's hired body guards now? In the words of the mighty Peter Griffin, "Aw Crap."

Its about time frankly. the new Mrs. Federline had bodyguards almost BEFORE she was famous, not that I want Jessica to emulate britney...And we all know how well "he" would/could protect her...

Think about that carefully because bodyguards mean no approachability beyond the whole beautiful star hottie factor you'd have to deal with in ever meeting her. That makes your average Joe's chances of meeting her decrease in odds from 10:1 to about 100:1 when you have to get through the mighty wall that is Bruno the Magnificent. At least w/out the bodyguards all you have to overcome is your own insecurities about approaching her.

considering I dont plan on seeing her walk the streets, That never was an issue for me. But now it turns out she doesnt have a body guard, and afer consideration I'm not sad at all. After all, she can still kick ass just as well on her own.

Alba has had bodyguards for a while. Someone on another [non-JA] forum saw her in a Vancouver store during her Dark Angel days and there was a big black dude beside her while she was buying some cosmetics. I'm thinking the dude wasn't there to shop. :D

At least you can't see her bodyguards compared to other Female Celebs.

Good thing or Bad thing?

It just adds one more bit of awkwardness into approaching someone like her. You see her on the street, don't want to gawk to begin with, and would like to stroll on up and say, "You're Jessica Alba, right? May I buy you your daily Mocha Cappucino today? I love your work." That's hard enough in itself but then you have to add in the physical wall that is Alice, the 300-lb lummox w/shades on standing next to her to the equation and unless you approach on your hands and knees w/$50 and flowers in your hands as a sign of peace you'll get turned inside out pretty quick.

Maybe you should have slipped them a few more pounds for a few more minutes and told them you'd stay within eye sight if they'd go get a coffee. That is, if the conversation was going as well as you said and she'd want to keep talking to you.

Bodyguards are condescending by nature, I think. I went into a lounge at a hotel I stayed at in Buffalo last weekend and asked the guys if I was dressed well enough to be let in, seeing a clothing attire policy posted, and the guy was like, "Well, we've been letting a lot of things slide tonight so sure." I was wearing khaki shorts and a form-fitting solid T-shirt that matched. It's not like I was in a wife-beater and sandals. Wanted to tell him, "Dude, you're making minimum wage and I'm probably making 2 to 3 times you are so let me the hell in, " but he was built a little better than me and let me in so I didn't bother.

Its amazing how people respond to a little up-frontness but skill being kind. Go figure.
