The star of the upcoming movie "Honey" doesn't have one.

Yes guys, Jessica Alba is once again single. You may recall she was engaged to her "Dark Angel" co-star Michael Weatherly, but that's all over now.

"I'm single," Alba says. "I'm not engaged. Call it bad timing or whatever, but I'm alone. So, if there's a good man out there, let me know."

It's hard to believe, but the 22-year-old beauty doesn't have a packed weekend schedule with dates galore.

"I don't understand it, but I'm never asked out. Maybe after seeing the movie 'Honey,' guys will ask me out," she says, talking about her sexy dance flick that debuts Dec. 5.

But back to her love life. ...What is the problem, Jessica, GLARE had to ask.

Alba has her own theories. "Well, when I did 'Dark Angel,' I understood why guys didn't ask me out. I kicked ---," she says. "I guess guys thought, 'If I do something wrong, she might kick my ---.' But now I'm doing nicer movie roles, so guys shouldn't think that I'll be beating them up."

Not that we're running a dating service, but what is Alba looking for in a man? "Oh, I'm soft," she purrs. "I just want to be asked out to dinner. If a guy just said, 'Let's grab a bite to eat, I'd be happy.' "

Is she a modern woman? Does she ask guys out if she's interested? Alba says, "At a certain point, you can't keep waiting. Some guys can be dumb, so I do ask them. I feel like saying, 'Just take me to dinner, maybe open the door and if you're really feeling it bring me a flower or two.' " (Hint: She likes the warm and fuzzy stuff.)

"I think guys today are so worried about being corny or stepping on your toes that they don't do romantic things like bring flowers. I'm just saying what other girls want to say which is, 'Just bring us one lousy flower. One or two. We'll be really happy.' "

OK first off, Jessic is not seeing Zach (Or his real name is Mark Paul Gossolar) from Saved By the Bell, he is happily married for 7 years & expecting a child. I agree with ls47x, Jessica has said on every show she's been on the she's single. I did like her & Micheal together, but some things aren't meant to be, she's only 22, she should get out there, & see people her age, if she decides later on in life that she still loves Micheal, hopefully he's still avaliable & they can get back together, if not, it wasn't meant to be.
