| Newbie | If Jessica Alba marries "golddigger boy," her career will be all but over. Hopefully she`s not that stupid, but you never know. Married "hotties" don`t last long in Hollywood.Maybe she should have gone after Tom Cruise. At least she wouldn`t have to support him.I think Alba is great looking, but there are at least a dozen or more actresses in Hollywood who are not only sexier, but FAR better actresses.Anyway, I wish her well and good luck. Flame away, but please, none of the "they`re so in love crap." If she does marry pretty boy, can you say IRON CLAD PRE-NUP??? You can bet he`ll be coming after the $$$$$$$. Maybe she should have stayed with Weatherly. At least he had a REAL job. |

The other part is - you've got it wrong - it's high profile Hollywood relationships where both are big celebs don't last that long, usually because of time away from each other because of projects and schedules. This would not be the case. Anyway, what I don't understand is - you go on and on about career and money but you won't hear of feelings in a relationship. Ok then... what kind of relationships do you have that makes love so far fetched ? She tossed Weatherly because he was dull and wouldn't go out much. Maybe she wants a real relationship where it's more than career or money. She's 24, wants to have some fun, and here you are saying it's bad because of money. Illogical. I guess you would rather her marry another high profile actor so they can just get divorced in 2 years... Do you know who Denzel Washington's wife is ? Or Tom Hanks' wife ? Robin Williams ? No ? Maybe because they're nobodys and they married for love. Just maybe. [ June 22, 2005, 12:44 AM: Message edited by: rh71 ]

| Newbie | DREAM ON!!!!!!!! You`re living in a fantasy world.Reading WAY too many romance novels.ANY man who would let a woman support him isn`t a man to start with. However, it is her money, and if she wishes to piss it away on a deadbeat, so be it. Life is full of hard lessons, and Jessica may have to learn about it that way. Personally, I see her with at least 2 or 3 marriages in her life, so let the games begin!!!! :D :D |

If I were to meet a chick and she happened to make much more money than I do, then the ONLY reason I'm dating her is because I want her money ? And oh yeah, she is completely fvcking hot and I've made her really happy for months on end. You have a on$e-tra$ck m$ind. There's no ifs about that. And I like how you completely glossed over my question to you about what's in it for her if he's a gold-digging deadbeat. How old are you and how many relationships have you had to believe this is actually how things always go down ? It is clear to the real Alba fans that career is important to her, but so is her private life (especially after how she handled the Weatherly relationship) so she's going to do the right thing for herself. I'm not saying Cash is the absolute right person for her, but what you're saying about this relationship is completely baseless. [ June 22, 2005, 07:28 AM: Message edited by: rh71 ]

| "FaithRules," didn't both Jessica and Warren meet while they were filming Fantastic Four? If I'm not mistaking, he was involved doing something there. If Cash Warren takes part in film making, he must earn a pretty good salary. I'm pretty sure he doesn't HAVE to depend on her and if that's really his main focus, he's a complete jerk. Why would he go after Jessica Alba for her money? There's other features that he should be interested in. She's a very attractive woman, seems very outgoing, and takes their relationship very seriously. I don't think he'll back down to such an big opportunity. As long as their happy together, that's what counts most. |

| Newbie | My goodness RH, you sound like some lovestruck teenage boy. It`s nice that you support Alba so strongly, but, she`s far from being any vestal virgin. She`s admitted in several interviews that she`s done a LOT of sleeping around. Evidently, she LOVES to get her sex on, which is totally cool. I`m a firm believer in that too. However, you can`t build a REAL lasting relationship, or a MARRIAGE, on sex.Believe me, I`ve been there, done that. Sooner or later you have to get out of the bedroom. As far as loverboy going to Yale, BIG DEAL! You have Yale graduates working at your local McDonalds. Same for Harvard,Princeton, Penn, etc.Ivy league degrees are highly over-rated in the real world. The diplomas may look nice on a wall, but that`s about it. Now, let`s see. I believe his job is that of a director`s assistant. A DA is nothing more than a glorified go-for. I`m sure he knows the location of all the nearest Starbucks and KK Doughnuts. Very important knowledge. LOL Let`s face it. I`m not going to change your way of thinking, and you`re not going to change mine.I worked for Fox Studios as a photographer for over 20 years. I`ve seen literally hundreds of these type relationships. After the sex turns sour, so does "the LOVE!" Alba is obviously a very sexual young lady. Sooner or later she`ll find another "stud" to take Cashie`s place. It`ll cost her some bucks to get rid of him, but she`ll do it. More power to her. Her time as a celebrity will be brief, and I`m sure she knows it. Actresses are ALWAYS looking over their shoulders at the younger, up and coming, starlets who are a threat to them. It`s just part of the game. Anyway, you keep supporting the lovebirds.Who knows, they might even get married! It won`t last more than a year or so. Alba is not the kind of girl who can be satisfied for any length of time by one man. As far as old Cash goes, he gets the sex and the celebrity lifestyle that he`s after. WELL DONE SON!!!! | Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You either refuse to understand my point or it's completely over your head. You made statements which are baseless... such as him being a gold-digger and a deadbeat. Is it not obvious to you that's the only point I'm trying to argue ? It doesn't matter how it will turn out, how many divorces she will have or who she will actually marry. I really am not defending her right to pick Cash Warren. I really don't care who she ends up with or how big of a star that person will be. Hell, I don't even care if she dates another chick. I'm saying that you are speaking out of your @$$ about this one person based on other people's experiences. And you actually believe it will be the case with these two. How in the hell do you know this ? What do you know that none of us do ? And the ever-elusive question... what's in it for her that keeps her around him that studs like Derek Jeter couldn't even provide ? Again, maybe, just maybe, this dude isn't the deadbeat freeloader you say he is. BTW, I suggest you read the entire Rolling Stone article about her before you think you've got her all figured out. It's pretty candid. I would hardly categorize her as just another conforming starlet trying to live the Hollywood life. [ June 22, 2005, 02:44 PM: Message edited by: rh71 ] |

| Newbie | My My, are we getting upset? LOL!!!!!!Did you forget to take your prozac??? I DID read the entire Rolling Stone interview. Nothing new. She used to say the same garbage about Michael Weatherly. Nice pictures though. A bit too much airbrushing on the cover.I did enjoy the part about her "cutting anybody who messed with him!" LOL!!! SCARY!!! As for her "Ghetto side," that`s another joke. I guess making a stinkbomb like HONEY allows her to be a "sista!" Anyway, I did use to enjoy Dark Angel. Alba was good in that. Unfortunately, she hasn`t done anything worth a damn since then. Sin City was an excellent movie, but not because of JA. She wasn`t even the sexiest of all the girls. Fantastic Four--It`ll do well the first week, then drop out of sight. Into The Blue--Who knows? It might well end up straight to DVD. Well, I hate to leave good company, but it`s time to eat. Try and calm down. I`d hate for a teenager to have a heart attack over NOTHING!! Hey, maybe Jess and Cashie can have a double marriage ceremony with Katie and Tom!!! Wow, wouldn`t that be KEWL????? Later DUDE!!! :D :D |

| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's it ? You're hiding behind the argument that I'm just upset ? What about all the unanswered questions ? What a letdown. I thought we were getting somewhere and you bail by saying I'm just upset. You know nothing about me. I passed my teenage years along with my stereotypes and generalizations about people a long time ago. If anything, your thought process and writing style show which one of us is the teenager. 20 years photographer my @$$ - I'd be surprised if you were even 20 years old by the sound of it... but I digress... If I end this with a smiley, maybe you can get back to explaining yourself like a discussion should be. Like I said before, no flames. I just want to hear answers... | Newbie | A teenager??? It`s been a LONG time, but I can still remember those years. I was obsessed by Wrangler Jane on F-Troop just like you are about Jessica Alba now. I eventually got over it, not so sure about you. You`re so enthralled by your dreamgirl that you can`t even tell when you`re being "Played!" The more you try to defend Cashie, the more pitiful you become. I think a nice long ride on the "Reality Train" would benefit you greatly. Let`s meet here again in six months and see who Jessica is shacked up with then. She might even be back with her old black boyfriend. At least she`s an equal opportunity dater. Speaks well for her!! LOL I`ll be breathlessly awaiting your clever retort!! Vaya Con Dios--DUDE!!! |

| Newbie | Is that the best you could come up with?? How disappointing. I was just starting to have fun. However, I have enjoyed our little chat. I`ll check back in a few months to see how things are going. Until then, TTFN!!!! | Newbie | I think I`ve stated my case quite clearly. Maybe you`re just too stupid to figure it out.You have your opinion on their relationship, and I have mine. You see warm fuzzies and I see hard reality. Let`s just wait and see how this little drama plays out. Who will crash and burn first, Jessica and Cashie Boy, or Tom and Katie? Remember though, engagements don`t count. They can go on for years. Marriage only, and it has to last at least 2 years or more. As for why Alba keeps Cashie around, she loves having her own little lap dog that she can boss around. The more he BEGS her to marry him, the more she likes it. I`m sure he`s quite good at stroking her ego. Maybe the sex is still good. Of course we KNOW who the dominant one would be concerning that, and it sure ain`t Cashie. LOL I know you`re all about love, happiness, and white picket fences, but it`s not going to happen. You stay in your little world and I`ll stay in mine. As far as Alba and Cashie go, I really don`t care whether they fly, drive, or DIE!! I`m here strictly for the fun, and everytime I get some ridiculous response from you, it makes my day!! Keep bringing them on DIMWIT!!! Adios Muchacho!!! |
