| I offer this topic as a way to compile our thoughts on the current Mr. Alba, Cash Warren. Although we've all posted our feelings on him, I'm curious whether it's a predominant, "he's w/her and I'm not so he must die" feeling aka jealousy, that drives us, or do we feel he really isn't a good match for her. What are your real reasons for not liking him if you don't? Why do you like him if you do? Mine are pretty simple. As far as I can tell he's an okay person w/out malevolent intentions like Kevin Federline but he doesn't seem to step up when he should like w/the pa-pa, and he's nothing extraordinary overall. Maybe if he was more visible w/her like Federline is I could feel better so right now I don't really hold ill will toward him. I will if he screws it up, though, or turns to the Dark Side for his reasons being w/her. I'm just not sold on his overall manliness, I guess. I think he's a metro. |

| Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | honestly, I don't think it matters as long as Alba knows what she's doing. She could be a lesbian for all I care. I am not going to judge someone I don't know at all... and maybe that's the problem... you could be right about that... we hardly know anything about him but would like to. Some care, some don't. Hopefully all of your opinions are based on *something* though... rather than just jealousy. [ July 11, 2005, 12:55 PM: Message edited by: rh71 ] |

| I don't know, based on the modified picture above I'm thinking jealousy COULD be an issue. That is, unless homicidal tendencies are fixated on others besides Cash Warren. Then it would just be a case of megalomaniacism (I think that's a word but even if it isn't it's cool isn't it?). The thing I can't shake is why he's not at least taking better care of her this EARLY in the relationship. Guys are always on the best behavior early. Does this mean he'll have a beer gut by their 1st anniversary? He should at least be carrying heavy things and pampering her NOW. |

| I just don't think he's right for her... I can see some early signs of "*******ishness", like the picture of him not carrying bags for her etc. That's just bull****. I have no desire to be with Alba because i know for a fact that there is no way it would happen. immpossible. Eventhough, I would like to meet her one day. |

| In my opinion, I don't really like Mr. Warren, and I don't think he is fitted for her. I just don't really like his image, the muslim tatoos and all( i'm pretty sure right?). I'd prefer she have stayed with Michael Weatherly. They looked better together. But of course, everyone has a little bit of jealousy towards him. If she's happy with him, then I'm happy. |

| I've already gone in to detail about how i feel about him and jessica. Don't really feel lke typing all of that again lol. But i will say I don't think it will last. The whole "he's my soul mate" thing doesn't really mean much. Her relationship with Mw was a lot longer and deeper and look how that ended up. And of course i'm a bit jealous. I want that to be ME!! ME!!! lol. But i was also jealous of Mw but tought he was a good guy. Cash just gives me a bad vibe. |

| If "seamless" she means, I do all the work and he enjoys the ride (literally) then I guess she's all right w/it. My take is this: they've only been dating a little while. Wait until the newness of the relationship wears off and she discovers he actually has flaws, then we'll see. Women always think a guy's great early on because he's on his best behavior and the sex is great like I've said before. She'll wisen up, just give Cash time to truly come out. I don't question her intelligence as most women are similar to that early on, it's the only area where guys really can have the upper hand (man I miss that). |

| Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Alba explained on Leno that his mom named him that ... "after a street in LA named Cashio"... don't know the relevance of that but whatever... For those interested, it's a street near Pico Blvd in Beverly Hills. (Man I must be bored - oops back to work). | I don't see a comparison to her father in Cash, but I don't know how he came up. Her father was a middle class hard worker who invested a lot into taking care of his family and keeping food on the table. I get too much of a pretty boy, easy life vibe from Cash but I don't know him so I can't say. Has her father "approved" of him at all? I haven't seen anything on that. As for the name, my mind always goes, "Yeah, Cash mmmmmoney, baby," when I hear it which equates w/"This honey could get me social status, yo!" somehow. Maybe I spent too much time watching Flava Flav on the MTV show w/Brigitte Nielsen, I don't know. |
