Those New Pictures of Jessica

When were those new photos of Jessica taken? I don't think I've ever seen that hairstyle on her before. It looks old-fashioned. Is that a trend in Hollywood? To bring back those old hairstyles? They're out of date.

I'm guessing you're talking about the latest update at jessica-alba.ws. If so these were from the Never Been Kissed premeire. This pic is taken from a magazine and explains her appearance.

I have some news for Dustin Lambert. A friend of mine here in CA who knows Jim Cameron asked him if he would do any more Dark Angel projects and the answer was <drumroll please>........................................... ....no. Mr. Cameron says that Dark Angel was an experimental project to see if he could succeed in television and was only supposed to last two years. That was the agreement he had with Fox.

When the two years were up, the series was over and that's how it was no matter how high or low the ratings were. Plus, Mr. Cameron has promised his wife, four children, and an environmental/social awareness organization he's affiliated with that he would stop making movies with containing violence and do documentaries and projects with environmental and social themes. He's also planning on doing more science fiction.

That's still no excuse for trashing away the storyline in season 2 (from their writers' perspective). I just watched the commentary that Alba and Weatherly did together for the finale episode of season 1... they did the commentary voiceovers obviously for the DVD release, so when they did it, season 2 was also complete already...

Anyway, as they closed up the season 1 finale, Alba commented how Dark Angel was all about what we saw in season 1.. and everything worked great for the storyline. "Season 2 was not Dark Angel". Kinda sad to see even the actors put down the series after season 1... it's like it never had a chance of surviving regardless.

Dustin Lambert also said that Jessica moved to Vegas or NYC or Miami or somewhere. How true is that?

Okay. I have some correcting to do. It seems what I wrote at the beginning of this post is in error. My friend says James Cameron never promised anybody he would stop making films with violence in them. My friend says I misunderstood him on that. Mr. Cameron will continue doing action films and may direct one of the next Terminator sequels.

However, he does want to diversify his filmmaking. As for Dark Angel, its unknown whether Mr. Cameron would be willing to revive it but its possible he could since he IS going to be doing more science fiction. If DA is revived, Mr. Cameron told my friend, the only way it could be is with Jessica in it.

Jessica publicly stated she is done with Max. I honestly don't think she would want to work with Michael again anyway. I'd really like to know what broke them up though... was it really just her realizing she's too young (and he's not) ? And are they still on good terms (I recall seeing pics of them together after calling it off).

Heh don't you know DA fans/forums are always going to push this till the end of time ? JA publicly said she is "done" playing Max... I'm sure a few members here can vouch for that.

aggreed ... whick really suxs and that was the first TV show I actually like too : ( but I got BOTH seasons on DVD so I can watch them when ever I want too and i can use my imagination for the true ending so the memory of DA will go on.

yea im curious about why jessica brok up with michael weatherly. aside from that... im a little more than halfway through the 1st season of DA and i think its retarded how Max keeps trying to stay with Logan as a gf. He completely ignores her most of the time. Who in their right mind would ignore Jessica - I mean Max. Every episode I hope Jessica finds some better dude who appreciates her too. ......And Zack has a secret crush on her doesn't he? (I've seen every episode before "shorties in love")

Dark Angel is in the past and should be left there. It's over, done with, doesn't exist any more, is behind us, gone. It's in the past and in ten years will probably be forgotten. Fox has vaulted the series. It's a dead concept. Forge that show even existed and wait for Jessica to take on a role that might be better than the DA role.
