Upcoming 2006 Film Project

" Awake – This psychological thriller, starring Jessica Alba and Hayden Christiansen follows a man (Christiansen) suffering from ‘anesthetic awareness’ where he wakes up during surgery but finds himself unable to tell anyone. Uggh! Along with his surgery-induced trauma, his wife (Alba) has her own demons to overcome. According to Variety, this film has been pitched as “doing for surgery what Jaws did for swimming.” Yikes!

Produced by The Weinstein Co., and GreeneStreet Films, two outstanding production companies, this is going to be a definite winner, in my opinion."

Or, that's the fear I have on it at the initial rumblings for it. But, I haven't been know to be Mr. Congeniality all the time. no i don't think where gonna see any of that stuff. i have full confindenc in this project and to the other person. she will not be bikini clad. i'm sure she's fully dressed all of this movie.

That movie sounds weird, and scary. It will make a few people afraid of the hospital.

like people aren't already scared of the hospital already with out this movie coming out.

It's Hollywood's job to turn every 1% chance of things happening into total special effects or overblown story stuff. Wait until the story of this one miner that made it out of the West Virginia coal mine out of 13 gets there. We'll be seeing Jake Gyllenhaal playing the lead and Tom Cruise the grizzly veteran that sacrifices himself so Jake gets out alive or something. Not to downplay what happened but I heard a mine safety expert on the radio saying this is an isolated incident and mine's are 100% safer than they ever were in the past if safety procedures are properly followed. Just like in hospitals. But Hollywood's gotta make a buck somehow, I guess.

The TV movie will probably be out within the next 8 months or so. Hollywood's version, probably less than 2 years from now I'd bet. Call Vegas, place the bet, and you'll be set for life guar-on-teed!
