Jessica Alba Will Do Nude Scene if Necessary

'Into the Blue' star Jessica Alba strips down to a skimpy bikini for this week's release, but the young actress says she'll go totally nude if it's necessary for a future role that she may be cast in if she respects the big name director that may ask her to strip.

And guys everywhere are wondering why a director has yet to deliver that role.

Perhaps not yet, but the gorgeous actress may be pictured in the buff soon according to an interview published in the UK Sun.

"I'm going to have to face that when a big director who I really respect has an amazing story - it might be necessary for me to do a nude scene," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"But right now, I couldn't sleep well at night being naked in anything. My father would lose his mind!" she added.

Jesse also revealed that she prefers European women to American girls, because of their liberated approach towards looks and sex.

"I'm actually OK with my body and the fact that I have curves and flaws," the paper quoted her the actress as saying.

"I think that European women have a much healthier attitude about bodies and sex, and I have more of that mentality," she added.

A Euro Jessica Alba? Nah. Something says she was just playing to the UK audience.

In my personal opinion though, nudity is never NECESSARY. There's always ways to cover it up with camera angles, etc.

I agree. If she feels she HAS to do it...I hope it is sort of covered up. To me, it's way more sexier than total nudity. Ya know, just enough to stir the imagination.

I read this in the OK! article as well. She said she's currently in negotiations w/her next movie to perhaps due a neud scene of some sort if I remember correctly. She mentions it being a director she likes but I'd still be surprised if she does it. That would be borderline disastrous for her given she's doing so well w/out having to consider doing it. But, if she really wants to go the European Girl route, ce la vie.

her not being nude really sets her aparr from the woman that do. i'll still like her no matter what she chooses

I kind of hope she doesn't do it because, for some odd reason, I've found once an actress I really like does nudity I lose the fervor I had for them. I think I like the allure of non-nudity over fleshfests for some reason.

I would prefer her to just have a brief nude scene, like say she's in the shower, but you only see her for like 2-3 seconds. It would also be from a side angle.

I wouldn't complain if she didn't though.

Yeah, I really like those type of "nudity" scenes. They're sexy and suggestive enough to tease w/the body's outline but not enough to really see anything. Some people find them annoying but I've always viewed them as the sexiest shots of all, kind of like how Maxim/Stuff/FHM toppled the blatant nudity of Playboy in their sales. I could see Jess doing something like that which I'd totally be cool with.

yeah i guess so. also it don't show to much so i'd be cool with it

oh she will. but not for a while. she's too hot right now in hollywood. when her status dies down and she realises that her acting ability isn't on par with the top actors, and her profile lowers, thats when she'll do it.

Personally, I don't think it has to do w/an actress "realizing her acting isn't up to par" anymore. I still believe women and men reach ages where their self-confidence peaks. Women, I think, hit their mid to late 30's and become self-confident. When that happens, they seem to become less inhibited and sexually aware (could have something to do w/their sexual peak of 34 too). Therefore, they're more confident in doing nudity when older, aside from the boost it gives them emotionally. The sexual peak thing is just a guess, though, as men hit theirs at 18 and don't really become self-confident, I think, until mid to late 20's. Just my opinion.

If she does, I'm thinking it could be in Sin City 2. That would make the most sense. Nancy is a stripper after all. She did take some criticism for not doing it in the first one, when everyone else remained, more or less, true to the source material. And she does have a good working relationship with Robert Rodriguez.

It would hardly be career suicide. Halle Berry is a case in point. Nude and graphic sex scene in a move not that many people actually saw, and she walked away with an Oscar. In her case, Catwoman could be career suicide.

Hate to break your bubble but Halle Berry got the Oscar simply because the Academy was finally taking heat for not giving minorities the film credits they deserve. Monsters Ball was crap, she should've gotten it for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge which was 100X better.

While I sort of agree w/your premise on a movie of choice, SC2 wouldn't exactly be a movie few would see given the number of comic fans she would have drooling over her. It wouldn't be career suicide but I'd rather see her do it in a movie that's billed for "her" and not as a bit part in a collection of stars as SC is.

There's that word again, "boobies." It's like nails on a chalkboard, gah!!!

The difference is that you've seen them in a sheer, sexy gown at a Hollywood event versus up close w/a camera in the pure flesh. It's the difference between blatant, overtly gratuitous nudity versus subliminal, sexy hint of nudity. Sort of Paris Hilton versus Nicole Kidman. Still nudity but there is a classification difference; one that merits style points versus one that's more attention driven. I'd like to believe Jess is the former rather than the latter and, thus, won't pursue the blatant route but we shall see.
