| I already tried that w/my wife and she hasn't shown much interest despite my encouragment that it may have a thriller plotline. I may end up in the theater by my lonesome again like last weekend when I went to the drive-in to see The Transporter 2, Red Eye, and The Cave alone which she didn't want to see. Too bad we can't find a mutually close location and make it a group Alba fan outing, eh? |

| Wow, THAT is why I am looking forward to seeing the movie Thanks for the pic, Social Misfit </font>
Fast and the Furious and its sequel turned my wife off to PW despite his All-American looks. She liked him in Varsity Blues but those turned her against him. Besides, she gets a little insecure even w/the Hollywood girls mentioned so I'd have to say nothing about Jess through the entire movie which would probably ruin it. |

| Really, I swear, I LIKE Walker but I think he should stick to roles that are more "him" instead of trying to appear as though he's from the streets. I don't know his background, maybe he actually IS from the streets but I guarantee they're not the South Side of Chicago or East LA streets. Maybe the rough streets of San Diego or something but he just looks like a Stanford grad from an affluent All-American family, not an urban friend of Vin Diesel's. |

And yeah Z Man, I do agree his role in "Fast and the Furious" may not have suited him well due to the ghetto-type character he had to play, but I believe he and Alba do match perfectly for ITB. Maybe he can redeem himself a bit from this movie by playing a character he can refer to more ;) [ September 20, 2005, 07:33 PM: Message edited by: JcBoriGurl ] | |

| He didn't diminish in my eyes as far as likeability or acting ability but his agent needs to be fired (or promoted depending on whether the ultimate level of an agent's success is the almighty dollars made or credibility generated in your book). I guess every actor has to have one "Gigli" blemish on their acting record whether that's early, late, or in the middle of their career. He's cool, I guess. The Furious movies just make me laugh, especially when people talk about how cool they were. |
