Well, watched entertainment lastnight and they mentioned some new years resolutions. Apparently alba's was to smoke more :( So I guess its true she does. For me anyway its news.

I'm pretty sure she was just joking.

Either she was joking or another bunch of crap reported by that rag the NY Post. I seen her twice at public events while she was promoting Honey. She did not smoke at either event.

That's hardly proof though. And I think if she did smoke, she's doing an awful good job at hiding that from the public... why bother to hide it at all. Britney Spears and Katie Holmes don't hide it... my point is... if we hadn't caught her by now, she doesn't smoke. Or at least hasn't been influenced enough to do so yet.

Two questions. First, did the TV show just read what was in the Post or did it show her saying it?

Second, if you look at a lot of the resolutions for the other public figures list the whole thing sounds like a joke. Consider:

Magician David Blaine, who in 2003 spent 44 days encased in a Plexiglas box without food while suspended over the Thames River: "I want to get out more."

or

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton: "I resolve to stop trying to figure out why Page Six doesn't actually appear on Page 6."

or

Weight-loss expert Dr. Howard Shapiro: "I should listen to the advice I give my patients. That includes eating less french fries."

Let's consider this in context. I remain open minded on this issue.

I'm sure she was joking & doesn't take these things too seriously. She said on MTV jokingly "To stay employed" Which I'm sure she will.

I think she was making that out to be as a joke. Why would anyone want to smoke more? Her doctor said that she didn't have enough tar in her body? :rolleyes:

Smoker or not, she's still hot as hell.

Well, I think she doesn't smoke! There's no pic (I know, and I know MANY... :D ) on which she's smoking. And it doesn't fit her! I mean, she always says she wanne life healthy´, she does a lot of sports and so on, I can't imagine she's smoking... [img]graemlins/shake.gif[/img]

It does to me a little bit cause I'm allergic to smoke big time :( but it really doesn't matter being as closest I'll ever get to even seeing or meeting her is from the pictures and boards that I'm on [img]graemlins/shake.gif[/img] In my opinion, I don't think she does...She loves to work out, have fun, loves her body, and she says she loves to stay and shape cause it makes her feel sexy...and I think smoking would seriously play a negative factor in her workouts ;) In other words she would wear down faster and show a lack of energy I would think and I don't see that from her right now.....

I still think that is likely that the whole Post article was a joke. Not just Jessica's supposed quote but for everyone else as well. In her case the were just writing something the runs counter to slim good girl image, i.e. that she going to pork out, drink like a lush, and smoke like a chimney.

I doubt that any of these supposed quotes are real. Sen. Clinton cares about page six in the Post? The guy for Lord of the Rings who says he is "Going to get his fat ass in shape"? It's all BS.

I still don't think it's true ...
