A few Plot Summarys

While undergoing open heart surgery, a man's failed anesthetic leaves him completely alert, but paralyzed and unable to tell his doctors

In "Awake," a psychological thriller that tells the story of a man (Christensen) undergoing heart surgery while experiencing a phenomenon called "anesthetic awareness," which leaves him awake but paralyzed throughout the operation. As various obstacles present themselves, his wife (Alba) must make life-altering decisions while wrestling with her own personal drama.

The story focuses on a man (Christensen) who suffers "Anesthetic Awareness" (An occurrence where during surgery where not enough anesthetic medication for the patient's body weight), and finds himself awake and aware, but paralyzed, during heart surgery. His wife (Alba) must wrestle with her own demons as a drama unfolds around them


what do you guys think of this? i think this isa great chance for her its something shes never done before. and i am now looking more forward to this after reading this. i can't wait to latewr this year its so gonna rule! cause jessica rules!

It's another one of those, "All doctors are buffoons who do this and you should be ready to sue when going to the operating table" plots. It is pretty cool that they got Lena Olin for the movie. She's a good actress and pretty damned hot too. I've loved her ever since I first saw her on Alias as one of the most dangerous MILF's you'll ever have the hots for.

I think the movie has potential as long as they deal w/things in a realistic fashion and not the artsy fartsy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-Fk plotline method. Given she was seen splattered in blood for a scene earlier on one of our threads, I'm definitely thinking ARTSY FARTSY so I've got my gun-barrel locked and loaded in case I have to "bail out" in mid plotline during watching it.

no i' msure there more to the story than this.

it also stars terence "i'm in every single movie that comes out now" howard. hayden is a good actor too. i loved him as anakin skywalker. it's nice to see her surrounding herself with some of hollywoods elite. [img]smile.gif[/img]

well i still haven't gone to sleep yet. i'll probably go soon. that's ok no rush on that. its only a little bit like a 10th of the whole script.

the courthouse problems are more important.

oh yeah i forgot crash and yeah hustle and flwois great. it is on of those followyour dreams type movies. i reallytook notice to him until this. he isnominated for a oscar for this role. you should rent hustle and flow its excellent. it's moving.
