Hello,

Get ready for a thriller episode as we introduce Margaret Cho to Grandview this Friday in "Dead to Me." She will play the recurring role of Professor Avery Grant. Margaret was a pleasure to work with and we learned she also is a believer in the paranormal. She and her husband have a Ouija Board collection with boards dating back to the 1920s!

When Ned's (Christoph Sanders) Occult Anthro Professor (Margaret Cho) is stalked by a secret admirer who turns out to be dead, it takes a Ouija board and all of Melinda's (Jennifer Love Hewitt) skills to help solve the mystery. But the unpredictable Ouija board soon unearths a new mystery when it warns of the death of someone we know...

"Dead to Me" was written by Pam Norris. It was directed by Ralph Hemecker. This episode guest stars Margaret Cho in the recurring role of Professor Avery Grant (Drop Dead Diva, 17 Again), David Julian Hirsh as Brian (Hawthorne, Cold Case), Mary Mouser as Madison (Lie To Me, Chowder), and Ryan Alvarez as Trey (Bones, Monk).

Musically, this episode features "Black" by Brianna Rettig, "Are You Out There" by Session 5, "Hourglass" by January (Quango Music Group), "Stay Close To Me" by Justin James (Gold Sky Records), "Bhabani Tanpura" by APM, "Cold Feet" by Winston, and "Enemies" by Mindy Smith. We will soon air our landmark 100th episode and on March 4th Daily Variety will mark the occasion with a special edition featuring Ghost Whisperer. Variety will examine the special connection that Ghost Whisperer has with its viewers and discuss the show's success as a primetime drama linchpin since its launch in 2005. It will profile the show's star Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, Camryn Manheim, Jamie Kennedy and Christoph Sanders, as well as show creator John Gray, executive producer P.K. Simonds and us.

We had a very special occasion on set this week: We celebrated Connor's birthday on Tuesday! Everyone came down to set to sing to him and have cake and Jennifer Love Hewitt gave him the best gift of all...an iTouch! Connor, we wish you a very Happy Birthday! You've truly been a welcome addition to the Ghost Whisperer Family!
