why Love & GW deserves Emmy attention

I was feeling a bit under the weather so I parked myself on my couch and popped in GW season #1.
The shows come along way since but I really get something new from it each time I see it --
like a good book. This time around I was enthralled with Love's courage to take on a new venture.
What makes GW so cool is that it was the farthest thing from cool to do! Love's clout could surely
have pulled off a reality show but SHE chose to do and unreality show in the most extreme way! To
those who claim that reality shows give a truer sense of character, I believe
Love pours more of herself into Melinda than anyone who let's the cameras into their living room.
I feel that conviction speaks for itself and deserves the attention far more than rich brats, dysfunctionals, or
whatever democratic talent show du jour...

(I also couldn't resist the small nuances of Katya Livingston
That made occasional appearances in Season #1)

As Ghost Whisperer has grown so has Love's acting skills, you could see this in Party Of Five but of course she was never given the amount of air time as she has been given playing Melinda.

An award is just around the corner....

i agree with you two,she has won 2 Saturn Awards for GW but i think an Emmy would be the biggest prove of her talent and acting skills.She is very involved in the character and i love how fast she can cry and so real,it really gets to me and thats a thing that not many actresses can do

Ghost Whisperer was a great break for Love, and it really showed the world that she is a brilliant actress.....

i agree...she is good actress...but...GW has never been my favorite show. Yes its a good show but the storyline this past season took a turn 4 the worst with all that reincarnation crap...maybe some people liked it but most people i know didn't.
That said hopefully this yr will explore better storylines b/c that one last year dragged on just TOO LONG.
As far as Love winning an emmy for this show...would be nice for her but iw on't hold my breath.
Just my 2 cents.
