Hewitt writing country songs

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt attends the premiere of 'Finding Bliss' during the 14th Annual Gen Art Film Festival Presented by Acura at the Visual Arts Theater on April 7, 2009 in New York City.

Actress/singer Jennifer Love Hewitt is planning a country music career.
The I Know What You Did Last Summer star has recorded a new country tune, and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy insists she's a natural.
He says, "I really want to make her a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again. She's so good."
Hewitt has released four albums in Japan, where she's a big pop star. She hasn't worked on any new material since 2002.
She recorded her first album, Love Songs, when she was 12. It was released solely in Japan.

Dave you beat me to the punch. I was just getting ready to post this information and noticed that you have already done so. So JLH is going to be Shania Twain's competition , maybe in Japan but NOT in Canada. Here in Canada Shania rules ! Sorry Dave but in Canada there's only room for Shania at the top.

Well 'Me and Bobby McGee' is a country song. And she covered that on her last album.

I hope she sings again, i heard through the 2nd season of GW that she would sing on the show.
I hoped she would, i hope she still might, this is great news.

Country music isnt that bad tbh if it is done in the right way. Miley Cyrus is a good country singer : )

I hope that she puts out an album and not just a single. I'd love to hear how she sounds singing country songs. She has a beautiful voice and it would go perfectly with songs that have soul.

And, who knows? She might win a country music award!
