| Member  |  We don't know for sure if they were fake b/c i remember the 1st day those photos hit the net way back when the see through ones were the ones that 1st hit the scene. Usually the fakes come around afterwards. I think the US versions were digitally enhanced to take away the see through top and thats where the story got mixed up. Besides...UK GQ does lots of racy shoots and these pics were minor-league compared to others so messin with them makes no sense. Just my opinion!!!! |

Every single page and image are the same inside and out. The only difference being the UK price tag versus the US price tag on the front cover. So the US and the UK issue both have the couple of see-through images inside. I own the mag, I'm sure many others own it as well. We went through page after page here at the board discussing the images in that GQ. The one way they were uncovered is that most of the images, including the front cover are not see-through. That was clue number one. Then one of our old favorite posters (and an old mod here), doogiehowserMD, found some GQ images that were NOT see-through from the identical layout. They doctored the magazine for sales. This isn't the first time a magazine has enhanced images to sell more issues. Hewitt never detailed the GQ layout but she did report that the ancient magazine layout for Movieline (that has her laying in a red dress on the cover) was indeed enhanced. They made her "bigger" than she really was. Many other celebrities have reported enhancements in magazines and little can be done about it, it's water under the bridge when they see them on the magazine racks. I no longer have the old before and after images on my hard drive, and old doogie hasn't posted at this board in several years, so I have no images to support this anymore. Love has never been photographed in anything that revealing, not even by accident, the only exception being that wild red dress from the Grammys a few years ago.
