| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Guys, I've a professional question and I hope that someone of you can help me. I'm a writer and when I sketched the plot of my new novel, I thought that it could be amazing to give to my main character, Eva Gordon an FBI profiler, Jennifer Love Hewitt's physical features. The matter is: I must contact the actress for her authorization? Obviously, my history does not defame Jennifer in any way. My lawyer has said to me that since she's a famous actress, I don't need her permission, but I am not sure of it. Moreover, Love's name is also a registered trade mark and in the novel I've written her full name when I described my heroine. I've almost finished this story and my editor is very interested on it. Please, can you help me? Do you know how I can contact Jennifer? Thank you Diana Jennifer |

If you try to represent (or misrepresent for that matter) Love personally within your story then you could run into trouble. It's very unlikely that you'll ever contact Love personally but for information I believe bigbear's offering is the more logical way to go. Endeavor and Untitled Management are who represent Love. CBS is only one of Love's jobs, CBS only represents Ghost Whisperer. Here is the page bigbear is referring to: http://jenniferlovehewittonline.com/producers.html Last edited by i love love; 12-17-2008 at 05:30 AM.. |

Pratically, Eva is Jennifer's double. For this I'm afraid that my novel could be a little "dangerous". Moreover, I'd want to give (or sell) my idea to Hewitt's production company. I've already written to her lawyer but I haven't received any reply, yet. ![]() ![]() I'm very sad because I think that I will have rewritten my character. Some friends of mine said that Love will be happy to know that someone admire her so much, but I'm sure that I need her authorization before publishing the book. I'm writing another letter to her reps and her publicist and I hope to have some good news, one day!!! Thank you, guys, for your support ![]() ![]() ![]() |
