Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the original I Know What You Did Last Summer and the first sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, are coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 22.

The Jennifer Love Hewitt slasher flicks will be presented in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.

The only confirmed supplemental feature on I Know What You Did Last Summer is a filmmakers' commentary with director Jim Gillespie and editor Steve Mirkovich. I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is currently scheduled to include a making-of featurette and "How Do I Deal" music video performed by Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I Know What You Did Last Summer and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer on Blu-ray will each carry an SRP of $28.95. Check back regularly for any additional disc specs, high resolution cover art, and pre-order links

Thanks for the info here guys. Shame that there's hardly any extras. The making of video extra sounds interesting. But it seem to be a rip off if it's just making it Blu Ray.

here's some info i've gotten on the blu ray versions of the dvd. first of all, lets just say if you already have the regular dvds, don't bother buying them unless you want HD quality version. although the original dvds weren't that great in quality to begin with. they're the exact same thing as released before.

the original IKWYDLS (also the re-release with the different cover) contained this:
filmakers' commentary, this will be the exact same thing on the blu ray disc.

the original ISKWYDLS (also re-released with a different cover) contained this:
music video of JLH's "how do i deal?"
making of featurette (short and not really insightful at all)
traliers (probably new ones this time around)
full screen and wide screen format, but since this is in HD its widescreen.

there are no differences exact picture quality.

This is Star Wars all over again I just saw the "Indiana Jones ROL Ark" in HMV for 15$
that movies like 20 years old. I hate it when they do this.

I'll just put some money in and envelope and send it directly to Jen and
ask her to give half to Sarah.

^ Cashing in due to the 4th film being released this year.
Thanks rlm for the info. Why did they 'clean' up the picture quality? As it is for HD TV.
