43 Percent In Sync with Jennifer Love Hewitt's Opinion About Weight Pressure as Bride-to-Be

However, 28 percent said that when the bride is as famous as Fergie is, all that attention comes with the territory. -- Just-engaged Jennifer Love Hewitt recently defended her size 2 figure against tabloid name-calling. While 43 percent of Brides.com respondents agreed that they too feel pressure about their weight, 18 percent responded that they don't feel pressured at all, and 39 percent admitted that they sometimes do but are generally happy with the way they look.
-- Jennifer Love Hewitt's new fiance, Scottish actor Ross McCall, proposed to her with an antique engagement ring that had been in his family for more than a century. Although 57 percent of Brides.com respondents share Jennifer's love of wearing a family heirloom, 43 percent of brides-to-be liked the idea of having a ring that was hers and hers alone. -- Jessica Alba announced her engagement to boyfriend Cash Warren along with her pregnancy. She said she'll wait until after she gives birth to get married. Fashionwise, 67 percent of Brides.com respondents said they'd do the same thing, and 33 percent said they'd wear their wedding dress while pregnant. -- Katherine Heigl, of 27 Dresses fame, married musician Josh Kelley on Dec. 22 in Park City, Utah, because she wanted to have a Christmas theme. About 31 percent of Brides.com respondents said they'd choose the same holiday, and New Year's was the second most popular (29 percent); Halloween was the third most popular wedding-theme choice with 22 percent of the votes, followed by Valentine's Day (18 percent). -- Grey's Anatomy co-star T.R. Knight served as a "bridesman/groomsman" to Katherine. Some 77 percent of Brides.com respondents said they too would ask a guy to stand by her side if he was her best friend; 23 percent thought that guys should stick to the groomsmen side.
